Finished it in a day and oh my god, what a book!! It is so delightfully crazy that I smiled from cover to cover!!

Aly’s guilty pleasure literally broke into her house and changed her life for the better... What more can we want from a book? It's hot & spicy with a thrilling edge. Add in the morally grey stalker MMC, Josh, who somehow still gives golden retriever energy despite his background, profession, and side hustle (🥵).The way the characters are written? Perfection. The way the story unfolds? Addictive. And Fred’s arc? Chef’s kiss. 😻🔪💀If you don’t mind a little gore & murder and love a good dark romance with a lot of kink, this one is right up your alley. 💫

It checks every box of dark romance and the comedy was the cherry on top.I was hooked! Hooked from the first few pages.The twist was sooooo good, I did not see it coming and I usually do. It was that well written.The smut was 5/5, 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥A book with great banter, quirky humour and such a good build up is so rare to find.This book was everything and more.The comedy was 🤌🤌This story delivered everything it promised.And the best part? A FMC with brains that she actually uses!!!My favourite book of the year. Yes, it's only March but this one is going to be my favourite.Give this a read.

Listen to the audiobook even if you are not an audiobook person, because it was so good! The voice actors had done such a wonderful job on this that I felt like I was watching a movie the entire time I was listening to them. I tried dragging this book for so long 😄 I just didn't want it to end.Josh and Ally are one of my favorite couples now. I just loved their banter, their spicy scenes. Oh my God, I loved how smart they both were so it was so much fun watch them try to one up each other. Overall, I just simply loved how they were a perfect match for each other in every aspect. To anyone who hasn't met Josh and Ally yet they really do need to.Also, special mention : I am impressed by the trigger warnings page. Precise, to the point but everything is mentioned. I wish more writers did this.

3.5 starsIt had a gripping beginning, but the story dragged towards the end with some unnecessary scenes. The female lead was frustrating at times, though the side characters were amazing! The modern references made it so relatable, and if you enjoy masked men with dark themes, this might be for you, just check the trigger warnings first!
