Good idea & works well
Bought for parents and they love this. Helps them read small ingredient labels with their glasses

Poor resolution
This consists of plastic Fresnel lens stuck (badly) to a sheet of glass. As the grating is large, the resolution is limited by physics, and is extremely poor. You get an magnified blurr. Further, the plastic is soft - probably LDPE - and scratched easily ad is so hard to clear.

Not so flexible
I returned this item as it was impossible to position the lens straight to read a book in an armchair. The lead is too short, does not have a 3 point plug, the gooseneck arm is not long to position well. The lens flimsy and did not look like it would last long. Overall very disappointing.

Be wary if you already wear glasses
I have some intricate electrical work to carry out so I decided to order these magnification glasses.First off it comes packaged well with the glasses bracket for your head, 5 pairs of magnification lenses, a micro USB charging cable, a cleaning cloth and the instructions. The first thing I noticed as soon as I got it out of the package was that the actual magnification glasses looked very small, but hey ho let's give it a go.The glasses bracket itself that goes around your head does seem a little bit cheaply made, I especially didn't like the wires showing in one area, if you're not careful these could get caught and be pulled out, it wouldn't have cost a lot to put another little bit of plastic to cover them up.So the first thing I found out is these are impossible to wear with glasses, so remove your glasses before using.First off I put the strongest magnification lenses on them to see if I could read some very small print. Will you do is select whichever magnification you need and then clip it into a little holder that goes right in front of your vision. You can then choose to press the little button on top of the bracket to get a little bit of LED lighting. So I could definitely read the small print it's really does magnified well, but then we get into a huge problem. Because the actual magnification lenses are so small you get a lot of preferral vision which made me feel really sick. This happened because I was trying to concentrate on the area of my focus and I could really catch the preferral vision which is really out of focus just outside your focal range and as soon as you move around this really does make me feel very very queasy.I tried again with a slightly less magnification and I got the same results. This may be because I already wear glasses so my brain is not tuned in to accepting this kind of magnification with a preferral vision that's out of focus. So overall these glasses definitely do magnify but because of the strange small magnifying lenses it is very hard to use them for any kind of period of time.Of course this was my own personal experience and if you do not wear glasses you may not have this issue.
