Speechless
I’m somewhat speechless at the way this little gadget appears to be. This is something new to me. It seems to be a good quality. You can tell that it is a good stainless steel product. It seems easy enough to use as well. I must admit I am a little intimidated and trying to make, anything with this. But overall it’s good quality and seems easy enough to use.

Create your own healthy and tasty deli meat masterpieces! A few tips here, too.
Who knew this even existed? I ordered this meat presser because I wanted healthier luncheon meats. My husband loves Spam and turkey meats. This meat presser tool makes it so easy to create deli meats. The product is well-made stainless steel (see photo for components). It comes with a small thermometer containing both Centigrade and Fahrenheit readings. The thermometer was a little hard to read and water condensed inside of it. Upon opening the box, I had a little struggle getting out the cylinder piece that attaches to the large spring. NOTE: The seller says to turn the container upside down and knock on it a few times so the spring and attached disc come out.Other than that, everything was easy. The meat presser includes some basic cooking steps. However, it doesn't come with any basic recipes, which I wish it did for beginners. I found some recipes online. You can use this meat presser with ground pork, ham, turkey, chicken, and beef (beef not as common). I hope to also create a vegan lunch "meat" with this meat presser. The cool thing is that you can create your own masterpiece. You can reduce the salt, add bits of additional ingredients like olives or marinated red bell peppers, or your choice of seasonings.COOKING: It works great. You mix the ground meat(s) with chosen seasonings and a little water in a food processer until it becomes a paste. TIP: I oiled the canister and spring, to make sure I could easily extract the cooked meat. Then you fill the canister with your mixed meat, add the disc with spring on top, close the lid, and insert the thermometer in a special hole on top. TIP2: Make sure you fill the canister carefully, or you'll get air pockets like I did. The meat cooks in the canister, as you place the canister into simmering water in a pot. TIP3: place a washcloth under the canister so the bottom of the contents don't burn or dry out. I simmered my contents for around 50 minutes, then cooled it in cold water, then opened it after around 15 minutes. Then, eat up and enjoy -- or refrigerate or freeze a portion of your new creation for later consumption.I highly recommend this device for easy luncheon meat making. It's unique and easy to use, with great results. My husband was thrilled with how it tasted. It's also giftable for that favorite adventurous cook who loves new food-prep tools. I hope this information helps you.

Simple concept but I didn't even know these existed
Watched a couple of videos online and am very excited to give it a go although I need to find some more details on what to do as none come with this unit. Apparently, the size of the meat chunks and fat content can make quite a difference on the outcome. The whole point of my making my own is to avoid nitrates but it seems some of the content I've seen online seem to be using nitrates so I'll have to look in to that. It might be with just the pork but I'm not sure.Simple but well made. Recommended.

Easy to use and clean, works well
I really like this 304 Stainless Steel Meat Press. It works really well. The spring keeps the meat pressed down during loading and cooking. It was easy to get the meat out after it was finished. I will continue to try different recipes to see which ones I like best, but every one of them has worked when I tried it. The stainless steel cleans easily. I love being able to make my own deli meats know what is going into it. I recommend this product.
