Brilliant
Manages to balance depth and breadth close to perfectly. An absolute joy that can be used for systematic self-study or excellent reference. Was unsure of whether to mention but there are a handful of simple errors (like mislabelling a figure) that crept in which one would expect a good editor to have caught. This doesn't detract from the value of the book at all but if the reader isn't somewhat familiar with the world of options they could be a source of confusion.

Options must have
Very good reference book explaining everything options-related from A to Z. Would give 5*, but unfortunately there are some minor typos and printing mistakes. Also, even though the book starts with very basic concepts, it is good to have some finance understanding before buying it.

Fantastic, better than 5 stars!
Fantastic book. Can’t recommend it highly enough. If you hate math you shouldn’t be trading options. No book could explain the basics better than this. The mathematics is very simple compared to other, more advanced texts. I have a large library of books on option trading for professionals. Though at the intermediate level, I really love the clarity this book provides. After this, consider moving to Hull before advancing to Sinclair. Then Iqbal on volatility.
