will this unit hold an 8"x 4" stack of adult bathing wipes?

Compartment size is 7.6" x 5", so it will not fit 8"x4" adult bathing wipes

Can bacteria growing inside the warmer if using water wipes with no preservatives? About what temperature does this keep the wipes?

I bought this for my grandson and the wipes come out about body temperature. My suggestion is to wipe the inside of the warmer with alcohol wipes after every refill to clean the inside. We've used this for a few weeks with no problems and clean the inside with alcohol wipes before refilling.

How do you turn this thing on? Maybe mine is defective but it’s plugged in and no buttons work

Oh no! Not meant to be a silly question-but is the cord from the wall pushed in far enough into the actual warmer?? You should see one or two green lights near the lid flap (which indicate the heat setting)...also, you should be able to hit the light button-to the right of the upper-lid flap.
