Reussir le DELF 2010 edition: Livre B2 & CD audio

I taught English for twenty years before I retired and I've been a language learner for (it feels like) my whole life. Not only from my experience as a language teacher, but also from my experience as a language learner, I feel that this book achieves what it sets out to do, efficiently and successfully. One thing to be careful of when ordering: since there are different DELFs for different students, e.g. DELF Scolaire et Junior for young kids and adolescents, and DELF Tous Publics for adults, with course material and examination material tailored to the appropriate age level, it is therefore only natural that this publisher has produced different books to cater for each type of DELF. This one, with the blue cover, is for DELF Tous Publics, the one for DELF Scolaire et Junior has a greenish cover. In other words, be sure you order the book which is appropriate to the variant of the DELF exam that you have registered to do.[Edited 24-Jan-2018: my advice about ordering the right book is even more relevant than I thought. On comparing the Tous Publics version of the book that I bought here and the Scolaire et Junior equivalent that I borrowed from the library at the local French Institute, mine has transcriptions of most of the listening exercises on the CD and an answer key, whereas the Scolaire et Junior has neither. It looks like you prospective purchasers may have to order a separate Guide (Pedagogique). To make sure you order the right book, you may have to do some research on the publisher's website.]

B2 is much harder and more academic than I had expected. This book is quite difficult to get to grips with on your own but with the aid of a French tutor I am starting to gain insights and will continue to work through it.

Bought this together with DELF B1, and they each are just shy of 200 pages and both include a CD. The book is beautifully presented, with many colourful pictures and custom formatted layout to make the learning more interesting. Get it if you plan to advance to the next level in your French language study. Highly recommended.

The authors are a bit stern, but it's for your own good! A very good book to prepare for the DELF B2 exam, essential in fact. If you are intending to take the B2 exam, buy this book. Seriously.
