It's going to be hard to capture the smell of rain and this gets the closest I've been able to find. It is clean and yes there is a bit of clean laundry to it, but there's a crispness to it as well just like rain. I like it and put some on my wool dryer balls, now everything smells fresh. I was gifted the bamboo from my wish list, which smells equally as lovely and has a more botanical scent, but more crisp and less floral. I'm excited because together they smell almost identical to Walmart's botanical rain fragrance oil. That's what I've been using with my dryer balls and I've been trying to find an alternative since they stopped selling it. Honestly, I think the two together keep the laundry and floral scent down and are more reminiscent of a crisp rain somewhere lush and green without being overwhelming.

I wouldn't say this is the petrichor smell you get from a warm summer rain but it's still pleasant. You could probably convince me it's a flower essential oil, like plumeria or lilac (I wouldn't know any better lol).

With the addition of P&J's Dirt scent to their Rain scent, you get a REMARKABLY close scent to a rainstorm on parched earth. Most complaints about P&J's Rain scent is that it's too perfumy...and they're right, it has a floral scent. The addition of a drop of dirt to a drop of rain, cuts the floral scent remarkably. It makes it smell like a fresh rain on a field of grass and wildflowers. If you want that fresh rain smell, trust me...get their dirt scent and add it to this. 10/10 recommend

Nice clean scent

Doesn't smell like rain (petrichor, or just fresh water/ozone), it is much sweeter and floral, which might be what some people want, but I was dismayed. It is _strong_ smelling, a few drops and too much smell has invaded my room, this is potent stuff. Don't buy this is you want the smell of rain, buy it if you already know how it smells and like it.

Love this brand of oil! If you’ve shopped for essential oils you know that some smell great in the bottles but do not smell once you add to a diffuser. Not the case with these! I have bought all of their different oils / variety packs and they are ALL Amazing!!

Bought these on a whim and do not regret it! I wanted to find unique scents because I feel like every other brand always has the same scents, like tea tree, eucalyptus, lavender… which no shame to those scents, but I really wanted to find others and unique scents. This brand definitely has A LOT to choose from. I already have 4-5 other scents in my cart that I plan to purchase. A little goes a long way. I only but 2-3 drops in my 2.5L humidifier and that was plenty! I feel like Rain and Ocean Breeze smell similar, but I’m not complaining! Love it!
