I was able to change the sound from the Phone ...
I was able to change the sound from the Phone to the screen through the HDMI ... I didn't try using it with headphones.My issue came with random disconnects .. I'd be working on something and then suddenly the system would disconnect and the monitor would switch to an active input versus the HDMI input from the device.

3.5mm jack not operational
Product arrived quickly. Everything works as expected EXCEPT the 3.5mm headphone jack isn't operational. The only thing it says in the very sparse instructions is to make an audio change inside the Dex software. Unfortunately after searching all day I haven't been able to find any information on how to do this. So unless I can find a way to get this headphone jack operational then the thing is of little use to me.

Not good quality product
Nice concept but it is not a good quality product. The charger cable keeps disconnecting at the slightest movement.

If you purchase a Dependable item it should last more than 35 days
,I bought two of them for both of my televisions. One of them stopped working after I was unable to return it very disappointing.
