Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Amazingly informative and interesting world timeline - I was a little concerned when I ordered this product having seen the reviews about how it's packaged. Mine was supplied in a large enough box for it not to be creased severely, a day under a couple of heavy books ironed these out and now it's perfectly flat and in great condition to mount on the wall. I've been looking for a world history timeline for a while and so happy I found this. Review: Easily the most interesting poster I've owned - My flatmate and I descided to cover the flat in posters (world map, muscles of the body, etc, etc) and got this one on a whim. It wins. I keep finding myself tracking the history of a given corner of the earth and finding that 20 minutes have passed. It would be great if it came in a bigger size as while it is perfectly readable, it's our favourite poster and it could do with being twice the size given how absorbing it is. It really puts world history in perspective.

Condition of goods not as new.
Chart clever and informative. shame about the part removed label on the back. left glue on the back and prevented the chart being rolled for storage. Now need to interleaved with tissue to store and replace each time when restoring. Also a large crumpled strip of clear tape attached to the front, this was successfully removed . Not really the condition in which it should have been despatched. Therefore less stars due to condition. Not returned as needed immediately .

Simply amazing
This timeline is amazing. I bought it as a christmas present for the children of a friend but it looks so interesting we wanted it for ourselves. These timelines are in fact great gifts and great for children and adults alike who want to learn when it all begun.

Look at history.
I like this. You can see that all the moaning about the British empire is stupid compared to the Romans etc.

A picture paints a thousand words
Great way to visualise the rise, size and fall of empires. A really good quality plasticised poster. Rapid delivery.

Quite small print
Well! The poster came folded in half lengthways, so in a huge box. Why? It wasn't rolled into a large tube, I can't even phantom. It was creased, so not very impressed and also the print is small, abit difficult, too much going on. What I liked about it?.... Humm, it arrived. Otherwise I would be chasing up a great, crease free, rolled, clear poster.

great but could be a bit larger
This map is great and makes things very clear - but with all printed items that try and display a lot of information it could be a bit larger. It is not overly large to start with, which might be the reason many will want to buy it for. However, for those who want to look at the map from a little distance, rather than standing up close (at book reading distance) it will not be eminently readable.

I can lose myself in thought just looking at this and being amazed at the course of Human history. The layout of the information presented provokes thought and exploration. The print and poster quality is very good. Would easily get 5 stars but the packaging it came in looked like it was done by a 1st grade child.. Luckily the poor packaging didn't severely damage the poster and the wrinkles and creases came out after a few days mostly. I've framed it and hung it on my wall.

I looked at a number of historical timelines summarized into a single chart and I was impressed by this one. While trying to fit all the world's history onto a manageable single page would seem like a foolish task, this one proved to be the best balance of historical context and size. Rich with information, it gives you the overall context of histories various empires and dynasties. It's the big-picture view we never got on our history classes! Very easy to see which group of people were expanding and which empires were fading, it take a bit of time to wrap your head around how the information is displayed, but once you understand the logic, it becomes a very valuable piece of reference material.

This map shows just how fluid national borders have been over the course of history. Puts a lot of the current debate over territorial boundaries in perspective. And it's all in one map. I wouldn't have thought it was possible but they did it and the results are very clear and understandable. And the quality is superb. Whenever I feel overwhelmed by current events I look at this map. It puts it all into historical perspective.
