This microwaveable heating pad is perfect for my at home continuation of PT for a broken finger. One minute in my microwave was perfect. Soft outer cover, excellent hint of lavender when heated and best of all it retains the heat. Perfect for assisting with regaining full flexibility and stretches!

This is a really nice heating pad & w/o needing to be plugged in it's convenient as well. Just right for smaller areas such as the neck, shoulder & lower back. Smells great too & heating it in the microwave, a soothing scent. Would recommend & the price is great too.

A friend gave me a rice filled heating pad that she had made and I really liked it but it was a bit small. It was the first time I ever used something other than a gel pad that you heat in the microwave and those always start leaking after a year or two. I wanted to get another rice type bag - a bit bigger - and went looking on here. For the price, I was not expecting much. I thought it would be cheap, shiny, plastic "velvet" and be... well I didn't expect much but thought it would do. I opened the box and was amazed! This is wonderful, soft real velvet. It is a good size and looks expensive and "hand made". The heat really is somewhat moist, unlike gel heating pads. And I microwave longer then the directions - one minute each side. Yes, it doesn't stay warm that long - maybe 45 minutes - but I like to use it as a foot warmer at the end of the bed and it is perfect for that. Another thing I really like is that the cover is just thick and soft enough so that I don't have to wrap it in a towel or something. Yes, it has a faint odor of like lavender and mint. Not enough to be offensive or pleasant - just a little fragrance. This is one of those things that I think I will have and keep the rest of my life - and you can't say that about many products these days.

This is a great product for the value. I like its flexibility in providing localized heat treatment as it shapes around the contours of the muscles targeted for heating. Its portability is another added advantage. I heat it in microwave for 2 minutes and it retains its heat for about 15 minutes.

Soothing but doesn't remain hot long enough. Terrible scent but it seems to be wear off with each use. Not very durable. Always heated for 2 minutes in microwave. A hole has now developed in the sack and the seeds are coming out. Past the cutoff point so I'm unable to return for a refund.
