Nice Spearmint aroma and good quality oil. I use this in both my diffuser and in cold process soaps. It is a good value for a pure essential oil.

The quality of the smaller bottles might be a bit better, but at about three times the price overall. This selection was pretty decent quality for black pepper and upon sampling it, if there was a chemical tinge it was minimal. I have bought two bottles of oil from other brands that were OUTRIGHT SCAMS - one was misrepresentation and the other probably just mineral oil like used for baby oil. This one was great. If you only need a small amount you might consider a 1oz specialty bottle, but I see no problem with this offering - at least the black pepper variation.

There is nothing wrong with this essential oil in terms of strength of smell. It is just as powerful as any essential oil I've purchased. Essential oils can really only be smelt when you enter a room not when you're in a room for long periods. I don't understand this notion that this oil is weak in smell having read other reviews. This is not how things work & a phenomena l can't explain. This product is worth the outlay in money & a good essential oil in my opinion.

I feel this is a more synthesised scent than I'm use to but for the price and the fact that I wanted to make my own linen and room fragrance, this did the job perfectly and left a long lasting fragrance.
