Organic Mustard Seeds

Fast delivery. Fresh smelling and looking seed. It is packaged well, very well for re-sealing. It also opens well to make a perfect re-seal. Tastes good and I look forward to using this in my cooking and for it's health benefits. This package will last quite awhile and if it is still available I will buy it again.

Great product for a great price! My MIL uses these to make chow-chow (a delicious relish made with green tomatoes), and buying the little containers makes no sense when this is available.

I had forgotten how flavorful fresh mustard seed could be in soups, canning, and other dishes. I even made homemade mustard, which takes some getting used to. It tastes similar to Grey Poupon, only stronger. We used it on sandwiches until it was all gone, but I don't think I'll make more. In split pea soup, it's a must. Home-cooked garbanzo beans can't live without it. Be generous. So much better than canned. Be warned: 4 pounds of mustard seed is a LOT! I got to share it with lots of people. I couldn't find it in stores, except a tiny package with about a tablespoon of seeds for way too much money. I just laughed, and told the poor clerk that I used more than that in one pot of soup! It's nutritious, too. I stored the rest in the freezer until needed.

I have used several of Micro Ingredients products. And all have exceeded expectations. My family uses a lot of various supplements and such in our health journey. Quality is very important, as well as price. Micro Ingredients has always had quality at a reasonable price. Over time, we have switched most of our products to those by Micro Ingredients when they are available.These mustard seeds are no exception. I love them for cooking, making homemade tooth powder, and now that I have learned, my own mustard at home. They smell fresh and wonderful. I will definitely keep ordering these as they are quality and the amount for the price is wonderful.

If you’re canning pickles this will be your best friend! We have abused this bag for 100 jars of pickles and still have so much left! It helps add flavor to our pickles! You can’t beat this price either, we were buying small jars at the store and honestly wasted time and money doing that. Highly recommend!!

They are perfect for making all kinds of homemade mustards, cranberry mustard, whiskey mustards, beer mustards. Fantastic!

I purchased the mustard seed and it is awful. I make homemade mustard and this was so bad that no matter how I attempted to jazz it up, it was awful and had to throw it away. Then I thought I’d add to my homemade fermented foods, such as pickles and again the flavor is so bad it ruined them and my family did not want to eat them. This is the first time using this brand and I definitely don’t recommend. Looking now I realize that many of the positive reviews are for other purchases/foods, and not the mustard seed. Bummer to throw away such a large bag of mustard seed, but I cannot find a use for them.
