I use this regularly in my basement and in our outdoor utility area where we store gardening and lawn equipment and supplies. I put one out and then set a reminder to check it every 3 months. It really does work and help keep things from getting musty or mildewy or smelling. We used to have issues during the rainy spring and wet fall but no longer. These work great. Once they are full you can just put the lid back on and toss them and set out new ones. I've never had one leak, never had a mess from one, and no other issues. I LOVE it is fragrance free to and those are hard to find. Hope this helps.

I absolutely love these DampRid moisture absorbers! We’ve been using them in our camper when we close it up for the winter, and I honestly can’t believe how much moisture they collect by the time we open everything back up in the spring. I have a very damp closet under my staircase. Not sure why its so humid in there but we rarely go in there and it has a gross feel to it. I keep some things stored in there and have had a white fuzzy mold grow on things so i decided to look for a way to dehumidify the air. These tubs work like magic. Humidity gone, mold gone. And they last a good while. Super easy to use, just take the top off and place in the closet. Replace when it turns into liquid.

These do a great job in controlling moisture in my boat cabin. I just change them out when the water reaches the full line. Without an absorber, it doesnt take long for the vinyl to develop mold. It really is surprising how fast they fill up in a humid environment.

Product works great in my car with temporarily managing a leak. Very simple to use, also is very big and lasts long but still easily fits in the footwell of a smaller sedan. Didn’t get it scented so I couldn’t say anything regarding that, but as long as you already have an air freshener in the area or at least it’s clean, the DampRid will soak up the water and get rid of the musty smell fine.
