The metal casing makes it feel solid and premium, unlike cheap plastic fans. And the motor is strong and powerful. After days of daily use, it still looks and works like new—no wobbling or weak spots. It’s clearly built to last, which is great because I use it every single day.The most important thing is the amazing airflow. The high-speed setting blows out strong, icy-cold wind that cools down my restaurant in just minutes. The customers all said it was very cool and the meal was very enjoyable. It didn’t work for me. Humidity at the room is usually 30%. With this thing it got up to 90% and the temperature stayed at 90 degrees.Really wanted this to work. Maybe it is good in a desert, just not in an apartment in New Jersey.

Works well to keep temperatures 10-15F cooler in 8x12 hobby greenhouse, so much more effective than just fans and misters we had before. Manual switches and settings also are compatible for external relay/thermostat operation.Did have water pump stop working after a couple weeks. Confusing to figure out how to open the unit to diagnose this problem or clean (the manual does not have good pictures). Customer service helped by sending out a replacement motor, but the process looked a bit tricky (requires splicing and waterproofing new high voltage wire connections with wire nuts within the unit). So requested a replacement unit from Amazon and will be watching for reliability issues on the water pump unit.If it proves reliable, may get one for the garage too...

My Swamp Cooler arrived on time as scheduled. It was a quick turn around and I did not have to wait long at all. It was very easy to install the minor parts and fill with water. It cools my office and I usually only have to fill the tank once a week. It runs quiet enough for me to have meetings and talk on the phone. This is a great unit that we will be using every day in our home office for the summer.

Cooler works well very well. I don't recommend using it indoors especially due to dripping. I had to return this item due to the pump for the cooler malfunctioning. I recommend a different company that had a reliable customer service.
