I love mini rigs, I have brought 2 x minirig 3 and now 2 x mini rig 4.I decided to treat my daughter to one for xmas.All have the the most amazing quality and sound. The clarity of the sound is out of this world and there is no other Bluetooth speaker with the same clarity of sound.I would recommend buying one if you haven't already.Cost is affordable and reasonable for such a powerfull speaker.unlike other bluetooth speakers Hold 100 hours of charge and doubles up as a mobile phone charger.also easy to link up via WiFi.Oh and the bass is loud u can feel it though the floor so great for party's raves and those get together in your local fields. Buy!! Buy!! Buy!! The colours are vibrant and the lanyards are great to help transport wherever you go.What are u waiting for press that buy button and add some quality sounds to your life.

My immediate impressions are that this is an incredibly well built piece of kit, with a ton of bass for the size, along with clear, high definition sound. The design is sleek, minimal and small, making it convenient. It comes with a travel case and a cylindrical cardboard box for storage. Connecting to my phone was a breeze, pressing and holding the power button twice activated pairing mode and it connected right away. The speaker itself wasn’t packaged as excellently as it was built, but that wasn’t a problem, it wasn’t damaged at all. For £160 it seems worth it, especially if it keeps impressing me as I use it. I expect to use it everyday but I doubt my opinion on it will change. Excellent.

One if not the best speaker I've ever owned. Was hesitant and quite frankly astonished by the price but things like this you get what you pay for. And in this case I certainly didn't built in the best city in the world aswell #BRISTOL

I read the hype, watched the YouTube reviews and decided to dive in and pick up a Minirig 4.In it's own right it's a great little speaker, not earth shattering amazing, but really impressive. I decided to pair it with a Minirig Subwoofer 3 and that's where it jumps up to the next level. They complement each other very well and make it superb package.

Seems to suit all genres of music. Partnered with a Wiim streamer it has now replaced an Audio Pro C5 in my office.From what appears to be a simple single speaker music is projected amazingly well, lovely bass response, no harshness at the top. Vocals especially sound good.Build is excellent and that battery does seem to last a long time.I have owned a number of portable bluetooth speakers including B&O, KEF, JBL and, for me, this seems to be in a different class. Recommend the simple third party stand to go with it.

These speakers are excellent. I bought two to replace a couple of Sonos One SLs.I'd grown tired of the Sonos speakers being tethered to a mains supply in a room with too few electrical outlets and decided to replace them with battery powered bluetooth speakers.I expected to have to trade audio quality for mobility but that's not been the case with the Minirig 4s.Unsurprisingly, the overall sound of the Minirigs is less 'saturated' than the Sonos speakers but I find that I prefer it; listening to familiar music on the Minirigs, I've heard details in the mid-range that I haven't heard before.The bass is also more than adequate, in fact I had to turn it down using the basic equaliser in the Minirig app to get my preferred balance.Also, the bluetooth connection is solid which is more than can be said for the Sonos dedicated wifi connection.After setting up the Minirigs, I lost several hours listening to "just one more song" because they all sounded so fresh and good.

The media could not be loaded. I'm using only with a wired connection. Volume goes really loud out of nowhere, has happened 8 times in the 6 days since I bought it. I've concerns about the testing processes of the manufacturer that this unit managed to get through, awful. Sounds ok as long as you don't plan to use it for listening quietly at night. Need to start the music only a minute or so after switching the speaker on, and stop the music before turning off the speaker because otherwise it bounces between normal and super loud. Not good if you have kids sleeping. I've written to Minirig support who say they'll reply within 48 hours "unless they're busy" so will update this review with the outcome.Update: Minirigs customer service replied after 2 days to say "We can confirm there is nothing wrong with the speaker" but that there is a bug in the software "I've passed this to our software developer who has promised to resolve this in the next update coming out soon." I'm hoping this is resolved before the returns period is over otherwise it's going back.Update: the software patch didn't work. And factory resetting only made it worse. Minirig offered to repair but sent strange terms involving a £12 fee if they only find a problem with the cable. Strange that they wouldn't just offer to exchange unconditionally considering the videos I sent them - but thankfully I bought this while Amazon was still presenting themselves as "the seller" (they no longer do for this product) and so Amazon allowed me to return with a full refund as an exception (even though I'd ordered it 4 months ago). Have now gone with Bose instead.
