These days of ultra hi frequency memory speeds means memory generates substantial heat. My MB is set up with memory mounts above and below the cpu. Running an AIO on the cpu, the memory, especially between the slots between cpu and gpu gets little air flow. These fans mount over the memory sticks.If memory gets too hot it throttles, just like cpu or gpu.

This fan has a number of issues. Some of them I'm not sure if it is the fans fault. first of all the included photo instructions were useless as the plugs were marked wrong. The fan sits far to high off the memory to really do anything. the rgb is nice but i didn't use it as my case is solid so it wouldn't be seen. The fan speed is lacking at max you cannot feel air moving. I'm leaving it installed in the hopes that it is working with the case sealed. I would have liked to see a heat sink or something that toughed the memory shields to draw heat more efficiently. I would suggest looking for a better one

Is it fans on your ram, yes. Does it clip on extremely flimsily to the point you have to adjust and reattach everytime you bump your machine? Also yes. Also brings the longest fan and RGB lighting cables of all time. Hope you have a case where you can pull those though and hide them. Also, very little asjustably as far a height or angle. Not sure if it's worth disrupting your case's entire airflow to marginally cool your memory. Def returning and looking for a more stable solution.

With four DDR4 RAM sticks, the temperature is now 2-3F warmer than at room temperature. Without the cooler, the RAM was too hot to touch. The device is simple to install, and the fans are robust and high-quality. I don't hear any noise. The 4-pin connection has a built-in splitter, so you can also connect a case fan at the same time.

The fit is not all there for my pc build but it does the job and fairly priced

This is a nice addition for my pc. I dont mind rgb but i wanted an "extra" ventilation source, you know, just in case. Its cheap but its worth it if you wanna have an extra fan. The rgb is nice and bright.
