As one ages, things we used to do become harder. When purchasing my appliances, I considered amenities that would help.me, but when it came to the dishwasher, I did not consider the door pull. It got so I could only run the thing was the night before my handiman was to work. I finally started researching and found a video of my problem which suggested the shower grip. My dishwasher is black, so I bought this grip in black and applied it to the door. Voila! I've got freedom back.P.S. I've just ordered a second one for my clothes dryer. There's nothing worse than losing one's independence. Amazon can always help!Note: i have now been using this and it works great. I recommend balancing yourself with one hand on the counter as you pull with the other. After a while, the grip can move and pulling back could cause a fall. I caught myself and refastened the handle. The concept is great. Just be careful.

The size is good and the product has fine adhesion.

We got these for our new shower. I needed black and there weren’t a lot of options. The are perfect. They have strong attachment and look good.

Stayed for a short period and then started falling off the wall. Extremely unsafe. Do not buy.

Bought 2 could only use one. Returned the other one. On a smooth surface it works great. With dimensions given on item I thought it would work on my tile walls. It didn't, just a bit too short. Measure carefully if grout is involved. Suction cup area is very large. I have 5x5 tiles and it took up the entire tile. Otherwise seems very secure matches perfectly with my bathroom decor.

It took me a few tries to get one that fit exactly between 4" tiles and this is it! These are handy for balance in the shower/bath. Just check to make sure it's still stuck - although I've had one in a different bathroom that has never come loose after a year.

I tried two other suction-type grab bars, smaller ones that claim to fit 4" tiles but don't. This larger grab bar does fit on my 4" bathtub tiles. It should be checked each time before use, but so far it has been great. Having to retrofit a bathtub isn't easy, but this grab bar has been a super help.

Didn't work on walls of my new shower. It does fine in my spare bathroom.
