Clickbait review title, right? Not at all. I initially purchased this after trying an assortment of other brands during a period of life when I was taking a medication that caused me to sweat excessively. A combination of sweat and these various antiperspirants were causing smelly and unsightly armpit stains in my clothing, and they weren't even effective. Enter Perspirex. Follow the instructions to a tee - ensure you apply it at night to DRY underarms (if they are damp at all, you will get irritation). If you have had a shower, wait some time before you apply, I would say 30 mins, or use a hair dryer on your underarms. It may also be worth trimming any underarm hair to ensure optimum contact of the product with your skin. Then you apply it and leave it on overnight. Yes, it can sometimes cause a little itching when you wake up, and there is a bit of a chemical smell (that disappears when it dries), but you can wash it off in the morning and the itching soon goes away. After consistent application for a few days in a row, you simply won't sweat under your arms any more. It's actually crazy. No more stains on shirts, no more swampy underarms. I have used this product religiously for 5+ years now, even though I discontinued the medication that caused me to sweat lots, as it is simply the best antiperspirant you can get regardless. No need to faff about with sprays or other roll-ons multiple times a day - once you have built up Perspirex for a few days, it will last at least 2 days without you needing to re-apply, so you can just re-apply a couple of times a week and it keeps the sweat at bay permanently. Tip to reduce irritation: try the less strong/comfort version (green label), or try to apply slightly less. If you apply loads, it will irritate. Overall, this product is incredible and lasts me a few months with 2-3x a week application. Could not recommend more highly.

Works super well to keep BO smell away

Love love love! Me and my partner love this. It doesn’t stop sweating but it stops the smell. It can be very strong at first and burn your skin but you need to build it up. One night use one stroke and then a couple days later do another two strokes and see how your body reacts. Once your body is used to it it works great. Love using it in the summer.

This is the first time I've written a review on Amazon for a product, only because it is a gem! i have been having serious sweating problems for my underarm (even had botox treatments, so painful). i do have a very sensitive skin and need to be careful with everything i apply, but this is so great. i apply it in the evenings after a shower and let it dry, and it works like magic! cant recommend it more

Not for me. Really made my skin irritated.

Have been using this on and off since I was around 13/14. Absolutely saved me during my school years. I went from sweating so much I had to wash my blazer daily to not sweating at all. Don't need to use as much now I'm an adult but on those teenage hormones this worked wonders.

My 15 year old son used this over the hotter months as he became embarrassed with sweat marks whilst at school. It really does what it says and whilst I wouldnt want to use it longer term, it's given my son his confidence back. He used everyday for a week or so before bed and then every couple of days thereafter.

My first purchase was replaced because the roller well err “wouldn’t roll” My last purchase resulted in the same malfunction. Couldn’t be bothered submitting for another replacement. Lost faith in the company and this particular product so took my business elsewhere! Apart from that the product was fine. Beware if you have sensitive skin. This really stings. To MINIMISE any stinging ensure the area of application is bone dry. Also once the area is dry put talcum powder over it. This will absorb any moisture aka sweat. Remember it’s the aluminium chloride reacting with sweat ( moisture) that produces hydrochloric acid. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to imagine what an acidic reaction can do the skin. Another way of building up tolerance is to start with a reduction in time. For example day 1 leave solution on for 10 minutes then wash it off. Gradually increase the time until you can leave it on all night and then wash it off in the morning. This approach can be used for all aluminium chloride antiperspirants
