It’s very sturdy. Moved and turned about as easy as it could. It’s best if you have two people available to assemble it. Works well. The instructions are fair. There is NO instructions for the net sling. Positioning the patient on the sling is a chore, cut and try. The hydrolic pump control lever must be all the way clockwise with the lever toward the pump handle to lift the patient. You only slowly turn it away from the pump handle to lower the patient. I lifted my wife off the floor and placed her on her bed with ease. The was one bolt in the main column that was too big for the holes. I couldn’t get the bolt through the hole. Had to purchase an hex M8 x 75 bolt, washers and lock nut that worked fine. Overall it functions nice. It is very heavy. To be portable you would have to partially disassemble it and reassemble which is a chore. So it is not portable in the true sense. Price was right for the item. Thanks to the manufacturer for a fine product.

ASSEMBLY GOOD: 20 minutes Only 4 bolts to deal with - good. 2 open-end wrenches provided - good. 1 Allen wrench provided - good again. 2 persons is best- one person to hold a piece while the other person wiggles piece until bolt slips thru. (2 pieces need the 2 people). (2 women can assemble). . Arms are only 4" high- meaning easy to fit under furniture and meaning easy to position person exactly.

Product worked well. Came without sling but when company contacted they immediately responded sling being sent separately with delivery time. Also came without some nuts and bolts, but company responded timely again.

Waste of money as the lift doesn’t go down close enough to floor to be able to attached sling . Might be able to salvage if I can find sling with longer straps. Thinking about donating it to a nursing home. It is sturdy though. The hydraulics required several pumps to raise the arm. Not much travel with each pump This would be ok if transferring a person from bed to chair or vice versa but not for getting someone off the floor.

Why is this frequently returned, according to the Amazon web page (June, 2025). Aside from some small shipping damages, I'm completely satisfied. Have used it a couple times since delivery in May 2025, and it is easy and totally secure feeling. I lifted myself just to see how it felt (and I admit,,t to see if it could be done - just in case). Assembly was easy and the instructions pretty good. For the price, the expected limited frequency of use, this is a solid tool and a good deal.

I purchased this for in home use to help my friend. At first, I almost donated it to a local charity because it was so heavy and awkward. Then I had an incident where my friend fell. By some miracle, another friend who is a medical person happened by and knew how to use it. No one got hurt, thankfully, and it got my handicap friend up and in a chair in minutes with the help of my knowledgeable friend.. I am not donating it now. I suggest that if you do not know how to use it, have someone who does run you through it, preferably with a willing live healthy body.

This product has been a lifesaver for my husband and I. My 90 yr old mother who lives with us is a fall risk. Though we both work from home, there are times one of us is gone. This lift has taken the fear out of picking up mom alone. The adjustable legs make it easier to move the lift from room to room as necessary. The battery lasts a long time between charges. We’ve had to use this lift 6 or 7 times so far and we are very comfortable with it.
