Really handy for my Raspberry Pi!
I drive some custom-programmed Christmas lights off of a Raspberry Pi every year. To do this, I have the computer up in my attic, to connect to the lights. The problem with this is that to get it set up and to make changes, I have to get it all set up first, and then haul it up into the attic and attach it. If something isn't working properly, I have to crawl in my attic again, which gets old! But using this adapter, along with a Bluetooth keyboard/trackpad combo, I can administer the whole thing remotely. So starting this year, I think the Raspberry Pi is going to live in the attic permanently! Both the transmitter and receiver are powered through USB, which I can get off of the computer and the TV that I hook it up to. They come paired, but the pairing process is as easy as holding buttons on the side of each unit for a few seconds, and then they successfully re-pair. I'm not running big high frame rate videos through the unit for my purposes, but the video seems smooth and responsive for what I use it for, and the specs show that it should be able to handle high definition video, so it should work for running a media server or other connection uses where running a cable is problematic!

Really quick and snappy, not exactly zero lag but close, great picture quality
Worked right out of the box and connected super quick. Zero complaints. This is the second EZCast product like this I've recently reviewed and have been pretty impressed by both of them. This one did transfer a 4k30 signal from my camera to a field monitor, and it looked great. There is a slight latency but it's less than a quarter of a second and the signal looked clean and great. I wouldn't play any games off of this that requires fast reaction such as NES tetris, but I can see something like Final Fantasy Tactics or Doki Doki Literature club being played off this. When the unit does first connect it looks like there is some sort of decompression happening as there's stuttering and slight lag but after that initial first connection then the signal has been great up to 100' feet away in the testing area. They do get warm to the touch after extended use. Sadly they don't come with any sort of bag or adapters to change to micro or mini hdmi, which means for some cameras such as Canon you will need to have your own convertors. I did wish these units came in black as I plan on using them for live stream setups paired with black video equipment and these stick out. Overall of all the cheaper wireless hdmi solutions I've used, these have consistently been the best performance wise. If they gave you a little bag, some converters, and just made them in black these would be a big favorite and budget solution to something like a Hollyland Mars system or something more expensive. Being that these need a a pair to work a bag or case would do wonders to keep this together, while adapters would make the system more functional for multiple camera systems.

It works, but...
Over all this does do what it says most of the time. It can get extremely finicky when connecting to a new tv, monitor, or other kinds of displays. Once it is set up and working it can start to get jittery if the "channel" it is on gets too much interference. Most of the time it will automatically jump to a new channel before it gets to bad. Other than those kinds of issues it otherwise handles 4k at 60fps rather nicely. I'm just not going to ever hook up any of may gaming consoles to this because of the intermittent channel jumping.

Simple and Effective Wireless HDMI Solution
The EZCast 4K HDMI to HDMI Transmitter and Receiver was incredibly easy to set up—it was truly a plug-and-play experience right out of the box. I didn't realize from the pictures that the USB-C input slots were for powering the units (I thought they were an input option), the set includes two cables with male USB-C and female USB-A connectors for powering the devices which luckily my TV and laptop both have a USB slot to power it so I didn't need to plug it into my wall or something. There is a slight delay (I estimate about 200-500ms) when moving my mouse and seeing the cursor move on the TV, so it’s not ideal for reaction-based games. However, it works perfectly for watching TV, viewing pictures, or playing casual games. Visually, it appears to deliver 4K at 30fps, which looks great to me, although I don't have a precise way to measure it other than looking with my eyes. Overall, I’m giving it a 5-star rating. It's a straightforward and effective solution for wireless HDMI, and I’m really happy with how it performs for my needs.

Good range!
This is an easy to use wireless transmitter for HDMI. It's very simple to set up, and worked immediately. The only surprise was that both ends need to be plugged into a power source. The system works better than wifi or bluetooth to get signal to my projector when I use it in the back yard, with a more stable signal than either.

Super Easy Setup for Wireless TV/Computer
I have had a few of these, and this has worked the best so far for it's size and ease of use. I do have a lot of wireless in my house, but it doesn't seem to bother this connection hardly at all. It was a simple plug-and-play from my computer to the TV on the wall, and works seamlessly. You can't really use it for gaming, because of the delay, but for watching movies or even giving a slideshow or online meeting, this is an invaluable tool to have in your tool bag for any such occasion. Best I've seen sub $100 so far.

Simple to set up – Wireless HDMI – Worth your consideration
The EZCast 4K HDMI transmitter/receiver pair allows you to connect your computer to a big screen TV. An HDMI cable is not needed. Connection is simple but you must allow the electronics to adjust the bandwidth and channel. The transmitter and receiver are powered from USB-A ports. Make sure these are available otherwise more cables are needed and you defeat the purpose of this device. These devices will work as intended. But be mindful that you are porting gobs of data over a wireless interface. There is latency but not too much if you stay in your lane. I did not encounter any interference from WiFi. I rate the EZCast as a B+.

Basically plug and play
This is a very easy to use wireless HDMI Transmitter & Receiver, basically plug and play without any configuration. There are some setting you can change once you start playing with it but basically get it out of the box and plug it, very straight forward. I didn't notice any signal degradation but what I can tell is that the range listed 165ft/50m is obviously with line of sight. It had issues when the signal was from corner to corner of the house going through several wall, which makes completely sense, I just want you to adjust your expectations to what the 165ft/50m range means.

Does not work 100%
I got a picture in FullHD but not in 4K from my computer to the projector about 10 meters away. I also couldn't use my Bluetooth mouse when I used the wireless HDMI receiver/transmitter because the Bluetooth receiver for the mouse interfered. So I don't use this 4K HDMI receiver/transmitter because it doesn't work the way I wanted. Now I use cable for HDMI instead.

Trasmissione fluida
Prodotto molto pratico per trasmettere immagini e video senza dover utilizzare lunghi cavi HDMI.
