Brighter Blooms - Braided Benjamina Ficus Tree, 2-3 ft. - No Shipping to AZ and OR

Update - all the leaves fell off and I called the hotline - not super helpful but started to water a lot more and it seems to be coming back to life so maybe extra water if it’s not doing well Very nicely packaged and pretty as described/ pictures. Losing a lot of leaves so I’m hoping I can help and I don’t blame the seller - not something you plant and forget

I was nervous about ordering a tree through the mail, but I am very satisfied with my purchase. The tree was packaged very well and arrived in only two days after leaving the nursery. It arrived healthy and is doing very well so far - minimal leaf drop. It’s the perfect height and not a bad price.

I was surprised at how good this tree looks. Bought for my son’s apartment and he loves it. It arrived in great condition. The braided trunk makes it very unique and my son says he is asked about that often.

I got my braided benjamina ficus end of December. Beautiful size, very expensive. The issue was that all the leaves in the middle were dry and dead. I thought it was due to being winter and since plants have a dormant stage (usually during cold months), I got a growing light and kept it on a warmer corner of the house. Plenty of light, water every 2 days and good fertilizers. February comes, all dry/dead leaves fell and all I have left are a very few healthy branches and a gnarly mess in the middle. At this point I'm not sure it will ever grow. What I'm sure of, is that it wasn't a good purchase. First time I have this type of issue with plants. Very upsetting seeing the price I paid for it.

I can't believe how successful ordering this small tree through Amazon has been. This ficus benjamina arrived from Brighter Blooms exactly 10 days ago. In the first 7 days or so since arrival, it did lose leaves. On the other hand, the tree went through quite a bit -- being enclosed in a plastic bag inside its shipping box, being transplanted into a pot by me to name a few. Today it looks very perky and has stopped losing leaves. Very happy! ----- It's now February 2024 and the plant is flourishing. Couldn't be happier! The fact that these plants don't do well for everyone doesn't mean there is something is wrong with the plant. Growing conditions differ.

These are two more I purchased from this seller. The first one was fabulous and doubled in size within 60 days, so I got two more. These are not as lovely but still worth the price. Frankly I think the FedEx delivery and the heat did make them drop excessive leaves, but hipefully with love I can get them thriving.

This is my second ficus tree. The first one started small and became big and beautiful. It has been several years since I had to give the tree away because of its size. I am so glad that I once again own a ficus tree. It has a great braided trunk, and a lovely full {top}?. I have had the tree for about a week since it arrived more than a week early. It is still in its original soil, as instructed, and will be transplanted soon. It is covered in new, light green leaves and is living on my patio in partial shade in the morning and full shade the rest of the day. I couldn't ask for more - except I may buy another one!
