Saved me $1992!
My dryer stopped heating. Hubby took it apart and initially was pretty certain a new dryer was going to be needed. We read the technician manual (inside dryer). Discovered the thermal cutoff was toast. I ordered this <$10 thermal cutoff and while I (not so) patiently waited for its arrival, I shopped online for a new washer and dryer set.Thermal cutoff arrived timely! We crossed our fingers. Hubby installed it. Dryer is hot again! Yippee!!So happy we didn’t need to replace our old but awesome washer and dryer. 🥰

Easy install, decent value, lasted almost 1yr
I bought this replacement fuse for my dryer Dec. 2, 2019, it lasted just past 11 months. So for 10-ish dollars, this was a pretty good way to extend the life of my dryer. Wished it would have lasted another year or more, but with standards these days I might be expecting too much. The initial install was pretty easy.

Find the right YouTube video is the most important thing.
These were inexpensive and fixed my 10+ year old dryer. Find the model specific video for your dryer if you can. I watched one generic video that disassembled almost the entire machine to replace these fuses. It wasn't necessary for mine.

Lasted 3 dryer cycles
Installed and cleaned entire system for lint. (Vent, lint trap, and vacuumed inside lint trap area.Installed new high level thermal fuse and it burnt out after 3 dryer loads.Hint...you can reset this thermal switch with a solid whack on a hard surface. GOOGLE IT.

Very easy to install and much more cost effective the calling a serviceperson. Matched the number on the old piece, ordered and fit our old dryer perfectly.
