I Am Enough

I love this story and I'm sure our grand daughter will too. Beautiful illustrations and a positive vibe throughout.

This is an incredible picture book that truly stands out. I bought it for my baby niece and I could not be more pleased. She is only 6months old and she truly loves us sitting and readying this to her while looking at the images. The text size is also quite good. With a great message that encourages self-love, diversity, and uniqueness. would definitely recommend

It was so refreshing to see the beautiful coloured pictures on every page. I wish I saw books like this growing up as a little girl. It definitely would have built up my confidence levels and self-esteem.

The book is excellent at building confidence for little black girls in an age where we're taught that wearing straight hair is beautiful and natural hair is not. Thought the price was a bit steep but still happy with the purchase

This is a very valuable book to read to girls of all ages. Do not be fooled by the overly simple prose. Beyond the visual diversity of the imagery is a profound message that is easy for girls to understand but also to embrace. This is a book you read WITH a girl and then have her read it back. The message needs to come from you and it would be great if it came from a father, uncle, etc in addition to mom or aunt or grandmother. Read it often and believe it and repeat it in your actions with your girl(s).

Finding great books my daughter can relate to especially with the skin colour and kind of hair she has is not an easy feat. The theme of the book is such a practical one for my girl. She loves it and has learnt so much. When she last told me she is not tall enough. I simply pointed to the book on the shelf snd she immediately said "I am enough".
