I used it to repair oak sink cabinet that had surface damage due to water over the years.

Paper thin and did not work for me.

Very little wood, if it's wood at all.

Not the easiest to work with, it is really thin.

Very true grain.Do not use water base glues, or this veneer definitely look sure to bubble.I used 3M 94 spray on Contact adhesive in order to secure this to my project. To get the cuts completed and used a little trick of running 220 grit sandpaper about seven or eight times along the cut sides in order to pass through the veneer and give me a near perfect and in my opinion flawless finish.Even though this product looks like it came with the heat activated adhesive I opted not to use it in lieu of using the 3M 94 mentioned above.I did my final finish using simple and old-fashioned tongue oil.

i got this from my aunt and it went well with my galvanized square steel

Used this as guitar neck shim to assure a good fit, sanded well

the veneering didn't have glue or tape on the back to make it stick.
