Worked a treat!
Water dispenser stopped working a few weeks ago then the whole unit died and kept tripping the circuit.Had an engineer out to try fix it, he located the problem as being the defrost element and told me it would cost hundreds to repair. Found the part for under £25 from Barty Spares and fitted it myself in around an hour (fiddly getting the old one out). After resetting the temperature display the whole unit is back in full working order :)Thanks to Barty Spares for getting the part out to me quicker than expected.

Well worth the effort...
My 11 year old Samsung fridge freezer started to frost up and water dispenser stopped. The appliance is perfect so wasn’t keen to send it to the graveyard just yet. After some googling I came across this kit and a ‘how to’ video on YouTube... my fridge freezer is operating perfectly once again. Well worth purchasing and just take your time when replacing old parts... not as difficult as first seemed!
