I've built many, many wood kits and this is one of my favorites. It.is an impressive build in my opinion. Good value for the money ,especially if you shop around alive express? The only beef I have with it is that it is geared to high(goes too fast,should be a slow tractor)

I loved this 3d wood puzzle! I do a lot of wood puzzles and this one was great. It was hours of fun and the design was unique with lots of unique features and ways to assemble that are unique to this kit. No pieces missing. Looks pretty durable. Good value. The presentation is nice and would make a good gift.

This was a fun project. Pieces fit well! It was a challenge to assemble but fun also. It was difficult to do without using glue. They have you install parts that just hang there from one side while you have to do other stuff and it will fall off. Then you will have to glue it. I used more glue on this than any other project and this is about my 15th one I have made. But I still enjoyed it and it looks great.

The build requires you to concentrate and what you are doing and following the instructions and use the video they provide as well. It is good video and accurate for the most part. Important to follow the instructions in the book. Take your time building this and it will work and look just like the video and box shows it. I love how it came out and it works great. Be careful when building the barrels. Use the wax to help the wood pieces slide through the slots better. I used a pint / sewing needle on the last flat pieces of wood to lift it up at the end so it would slide into the last opening for the last piece of wood to make each barrel. I know this sound confusing but when you get to this part you will understand what I mean and why I say use wax on the pieces of wood to help them slide into position. Take your time and end up with a beautiful display piece and let it run around in open place once in while but don't let it hit anything. Wooden pieces can break. Peace.

ADORABLE!! Took my 70 year old husband 5- half days. Does run with batteries, has a small switch in the back. Reverse and forwards. It doesn't make any noise when it runs, but it does have little lights in different places. My husband enjoyed putting it together very much. Med.hard

I have built a good many models throughout the last couple of years and this one was by far the most satisfying when it was finished. The detail and the unique nature of how this model runs puts it in the upper class of models. The directions were very clear, however, there are a lot of parts and a lot of small parts. And there are a few places where if you had not built models before you would have had a difficult time orienting the pieces in the right direction. My only issue with the model were the electronics. As I always do, I tested the electronics before I started the build and everything worked fine but when I got to the point where I had to install and actually turn on the electronics in the model they didn't work. But the company sent me new electronics and the model works great. It is important to check the electronics before you do the build because when you get to the point that you test the electronics in the build you are so far in building the model it is almost impossible to deconstruct it to put the new electronics in. But it can be done. Undertaking this build will be a very satisfying process for you. And the end product, as I stated earlier, is fantastic. Good luck!

The pieces came out very nicely. It a lot of fun and very challenging. You are definitely going to need glue. There are few areas that won't go together without glue. Some pieces went together too easily, they won't stay together especially when you start picking it up and moving it around to add pieces. I had a problem with a light string that goes through the body of the engine and up the smokestack. Where you were supposed to tie it in front of the cab, but it didn't leave enough wire to reach the battery. I had to on hook the wire and pull some back to make it reach, fortunately it didn't get tangled up in some of the moving parts. I think there are some sadists involved in the design. There are a number of 5-millimeter screws that are not as thick as the lead in my mechanical pencil. That have to go into some hard-to-reach places. Overall, a lot of fun. Loy Johnson

Great for those who like a Hobbie

It was a lot of fun assembling the tractor, I haven't built a model of any kind in over 50 years. The instructions were easy to follow & best of all no painting involved, I recommend this or any model like this.

This project is the best. Requires patience, manual dexterity and a good light source. Definitely not Lego!
