Great Electronic Shooting Hearing Protection.
These Electronic shooting muffs work very well at an indoor shooting range using my .45,10mm & 40 cal. handguns. By turning the dial one can actually increase the volume of outside commands for any instructions or directives per the range master. I bought a separate heavier duty 3.5 mm cord and hooked it up to my iPhone 13 Pro Max with an Apple adapter to play music at low volumes or receive calls if like. These Hearing Protectors are specifically designed for Gun Shots and do a good job! I bought a second pair for any guest I’m shooting with. Due to the sophistication of the electronics, it will pick up an Electromagnetic Signal, a very, very slight static in the muffs if too close to a Wi-Fi source, I.e., router, google point, etc.. I was using a Google nest mesh Wi-Fi point within five feet. I tested it in my living room. This didn’t fall into an equation at the range or even outside. No static whatsoever. Extremely quiet! Prior reviews mentioned a slight buzz and most likely that’s the cause. Move away from “the source” of the Wi-Fi signal and the slight static will completely stop. “Wi-Fi Sources” give off Very low Electromagnetic radiation signals. The muffs work great at talking on the phone or listening to music very low to hear commands while at the range. The other party heard my voice very well while protecting my hearing during Gunshots. And they come with a very nice durable case. Safety glasses are cheap, do not recommend them or the 3.5 mm cord. Highly Recommend the Muffs & Case! Get the combo pack with the case, you won’t regret it!

Decent product but don't buy for corded audio
Update 1: I am experiencing crackling and other electrical noises when the cord is plugged in properly. It's tolerable with loud music but distracting with everything else. I contacted a representative and they said it was an internal issue. It was recommended that I get a refund and a replacement which I did. Update 2: The new one has a constant hum in the left ear with the audio cord plugged in. The audio jack is probably just bad on these things. The hum is pretty minimal without the cord at least. Update 3: I discovered that the headphones pick up wireless interference even without the cord. If you are talking on the phone you can hear some crackling. This happened with the first pair I had but I didn't know what was going on then. Sadly there aren't many ear protectors that have 30 db reduction and a mic. The other one on Amazon is more expensive and the reviews suggest it has similar problems. Ignoring the electrical issues this does do a pretty good job. It blocks a lot of noise, the mic works great and has surround sound, and it feels nice enough to wear. It doesn't look super durable but it doesn't look cheap either. I can still recommend these if you don't need the cord and don't mind some interference from wireless devices.

Super Comfy & Work Great!!!
These are amazing ear protection at a rock bottom price. Get'em soon before everyone catches on and they vanish at this price. Rock on, my friends.

Great, Okay, Not So Good, and What Would Be Nice
GREAT passive noise dampening ear muffs. They do an excellent job of cutting outside noise. The 30db NRR is real. GREAT sound amplification. With the ear muffs turned up for ambient sound amplification I was able to hear my wife typing on the keyboard from the next room. Subtle and quiet sounds can be amplified well above normal or real sound volume when the ear muffs turned up to maximum ambient sound amplification. OK at active noise cancellation when the ambient sound is turned on. Loud sounds do actually get through the microphone-speaker system but the sound is still dampened significantly. It should not pose a risk of hearing damage even when firing a gun. But if you any sort of static noise like a fan, fridge, or water running in the background, you may notice a fairly significant white noise hiss. But, given the price of the product (~$55 at the time of this review), it is not scandalous. NOT SO GOOD is the fact that with a loud background noise such as a lawn mower, the audio jack (e.g. mp3) playing feature becomes a problem. The moderate pickup of loud outside noises can actually overpower whatever is being played through the audio jack. I was unable even to hear a podcast when operating the lawn mower yet it was quite loud enough when I was in a quiet environment. It might be better with sudden, short duration noises like a gun shot. NOT SO GOOD is how tight the muffs squeeze. It helps keep out the noise, but other ear muffs are much less tight and don't let sound leak in. After wearing them for two hours, my jaw joints began to ache from the pressure. That was unexpected. Perhaps they could be stretched out a smidgen without damaging them. WHAT WOULD BE NICE would be to have separate controls for the audio jack input and the ambient noise. If the ambient noise amplification could be shut off and yet you could still get playback through the audio input jack, that would be a great improvement.

I wish i found these sooner.
While they were a total struggle buss to slide onto my bump helmet, once they were on and situated well they were fantastic, the only thing i would personally change is maybe making the chord that connects them slightly longer but it's not 100% needed.

Not the best product to get the job done
Decent quality of electronics for hearing protection but the ear padding is lacking and will need additional gel cup upgrades. The worst thing is the arc rails will not stay in place at all. They pop out at low pressures exposing you to hearing damage and do not have the clamping force to stay in place. This essentially makes them useless for intended purposes of hearing protection and retention. Missed the return window otherwise I would return them.

Fits perfectly on ARC helmet rail
Pleasantly surprised.. Shipped quickly, the quality of the headset is on par with walkers or Howard Leights… good retention without squeezing too hard (although for longer wear I always swap out the foam for a thicker more comfortable gel). These give you the ability to swivel the headphones off of your ears when’s necessary. Would recommend

Use for the gun range. Shuts down quickly after a shot and allows you to hear very well! Comfortable on the ears as well.

This thing has a way better hearing protection than the smaller version from the same brand, but it's way too big and the rifle stock is ALWAYS in the way. For pistols or just as a hearing protection it's good. But I am pretty sure the 30dB are not correct. The noise reduction is not better than that of well-known 23dB products. The sound quality was surprisingly good. So if you don't shoot rifles and looking for a good sound quality it's maybe a good purchase.

I use these ear muffs all the time and have absolutely no complaints. Good quality and value for your money.

Comfortable and great sound reduction. Just can't use the mic due to it constantly going in and off in my loud work environment.
