As of now these get 5 stars, as long as they continue to work!... I have a 2006 SeaRay 40 Sundancer, and the original OEM actuators were going out and barely worked. The company that made them were out of business, so only aftermarkets are available. These fit perfectly with no bracket modifications (used OEM brackets)... just had to cut wires and re-do the connectors. I opted for the 1350lb each due to a custom super heavy sub woofer box. which in return gives me a slower lift rate of around 4mm/second which I knew when I bought it takes a few minutes to fully open and close but they are super quiet and work great. without subs I think I could have gotten away with 400-500lb lift as it is two of them working in tandem. As long as they continue to work... great product... but yes, I wish they were a bit faster lol

Definitely does not push the 1350lbs it claims and more importantly, does not lock in place when extended with any weight on it which makes it useless. This is the second one they have sent with the same and does not do what it claims. Its especially frustrating because of the fabrication I had done to this actuators size that's going to have to be redone when I get a different actuator

Item worked just as advertised. I am building a load pull testing for testing 3D printed plastic parts and tested this to 640kg of pull force, so it exceed its ratings. It did draw close to 10A at the peak and wouldn’t want to run it there too long. Picture is the strain curve I recorded from the load cell to test. My fixture broke at around 640kg but the motor was pretty much at it’s limits by then.Some people claimed it was slow but it ran at the rated speed of 4mm/s, for my testing at lower forces I actually added a motor controller to slow it down but if you want something fast this is probably not the unit for you.Plan to use it indoors so environmental concerns like water ingress aren’t an issue but IP54 rating means it’s not fully waterproof but only minor exposure water sprays. Suitable for occasional outdoor.

This worked fine, except it leaked down. It was too fast and too weak for our needs. We bought a stronger unit, and it worked perfectly. We had our suspicions that they had sent the wrong unit originally. Choose wisely.

I cannot use the drive the shaft was too short and the description did not tell or show an accurate distance

Bout this roughly 4 months ago. Worked ok but was super slow. Yesterday it just stopped working. I could hear the motor try but it would immediately stop. So being an all fields mech, I took it apart to fix it. It was totally rusted up inside the motor and water came flowing out when I cracked open the case. It's definitely not water proof nor water resistant. I got the motor working, but, the lift screw is still frozen up.This was used to tilt a small trailer. And was seldom out in the rain.

The media could not be loaded. Works great. But travel speed is slower than I expected.
