Not up to mark. Slows down USB, Random Disconnects & A lot of errors
The product looks good, but- It slows down your other USB ports.- If you have same brand/model hardisk(s) then cloning it will throw an hdd unique id error- The HDD randomly disconnects/reconnects during file transfer.These are just a few errors I have faced so far since last 7 days.

I had to replace a component integral to my workstation. So I ordered the same FIDECO YPZ04-S2HC docking station upon which I've depended for 3 or 5 years. Regrettably, it arrived with an broken SD card slot. I messaged the seller who offered to refund enough to purchase a separate SD card reader. I hesitated. Sensing my hesitation he offered a 1/2 refund. Again, I was reluctant, the entire unit I was accustomed to worked perfectly and saved space for me.So, the next day he offered to replace my FIDECO YPZ04-S2HC from his Amazon FBA inventory but wasn't able to check and assure it was without flaws (his inventory was in Amazon's grubby hands.) I told him I understood and I'd opt for his offer of a refund of 1/2 of the cost.My refund was in my Amazon account in 4 hours.This merchant stepped up and understood there are others I could influence by my experience, Plus, what he did was simply the right thing to do. I respect that.Thank you, FIDECO. I hope to purchase more of your products in the future.

A lifesaver for recovering data from old hard drives
I had a couple of old desktop hard drives sitting in a drawer and wanted to get the old photos off them. You literally just slot the bare drive into the top of this dock, plug it in via USB, and it pops up on the computer instantly. The offline clone feature is a brilliant bonus if you are upgrading a PC. It feels well built with the aluminium casing, and the built-in SD card readers are very handy to have on the desk.

Je suis très content de ce produit. Pour moi il fait le boulot.Contrairement à certains commentaires je n'ai pas de problème à insérer les diques, pas de bruit, pas de plantage ou déconenction. Je n'ai pas essayé le clonnage hors ligne.Et, cerise sur le gateau, les prises USB sont alimentées; donc pas de consommation de courrant de l'alimentation du PC. De mon point de vue, le seul défaut, c'est que cet avantage ne soit pas annoncé... hihihi.
