It's expensive but it's the real stuff. Organic extra virgin, cold pressed, unrefined avocado oil.
Real avocado oil can come in 2 methods, one extra virgin, unrefined cold pressed, and one refined for higher smoking points but a lot of loss of nutrients in comparison to the cold pressed unrefined one. I've had the opportunity to try both. Extra virgin avocado oil cold pressed unrefined taste- green tinge, highly grassy, buttery with a really tiny almost hard to define hint of mushroom after taste. Has a lower smoking point than the refined at 230-250oC Really the lower the better for unrefined one. Real avocado oil- Lost some nutrients, Refined taste- just buttery and mushroomy, kind of bland yellow or clear lighter than yellow colour, there's no green in it, or you can't tell if there is. This has a high smoking point of 271oC give or take. When cooking smoking point matters because oil that starts to smoke undergoes a chemical change that not only affects the flavour of the oil, but also affects the nutritional quality of the food cooked in it. So it's important to use higher smoking point oils when cooking for best results. There's something else worth noting, not to mention free fatty acids in the oil break down at smoking points, releasing free radicals that are harmful compounds, it's a process called oxidation, which is unhealthy for our cells. This is why I use extra virgin avocado oil either for cooking light and short foods, but mainly for dressing salads. refined is best for cooking long term and just a little. This Omega avocado oil is extra virgin, and cold pressed it is 100% full of nutrient healthy fat oil, filled with antioxidants, and vitamins. It does tastes like it's extra virgin, grassy buttery and is slightly green in colour, very slight hint of mushroom, which is overpowered by the grassy taste. I like that becuse I'm not a fan of mushrooms lol, and is the best one I've had thus far. It's a bit pricey though at £8.10 for 250ml and that's apparently on offer. Since I have no issues with this 5by5, but value is 3/5. P.S The way I use real avocado oil, typically for high heat cooking, sometimes dressing foods, and real extra virgin cold pressed olive oil always just for dressing foods, never cooking, because the olive oil has a much lower smoking point than avocado oil. Also the issues with some real avocado oils, is they can be fake by being mixed with other oils, always go with the taste, pure grassy, buttery, with a possible hint of mushroom, the main taste buds should be towards grassy and buttery, it did not tingle or was sharp down my throat. That is only a truth to extra virgin cold pressed olive oil.

Delicious and great quality!
Absolutely delicious, beautiful green colour and tastes just like avocado but in an oil format! Can really taste the quality in this- it’s not got a bitter aftertaste like I’ve had with other oils I’ve tried. I mainly use it on salad dressings but because it’s got a high smoke point I could cook with it too, so very versatile.

Nice but expensive
Nice enough but nothing to compare it with as never bought avocado oil before . It does taste of avocado though.

Top notch olive oil alternative
The oil has a light, smooth texture and a mildly nutty flavor that enhances dishes without overpowering them. I’ve used it for everything from frying vegetables to drizzling over my salads, and it performs splendidly. It also has a high smoke point, making it perfect for frying and baking. Highly recommend this oil for anyone looking for a healthy cooking oil option that doesn’t compromise on flavor or quality. Will definitely be purchasing again! Surprised it doesn’t cost more for what you get.

Nothing but 100% avocado oil 🥑
Really impressed with this oil. Clean taste, handles high heat well, and doesn’t overpower food at all. I like that it’s just 100% avocado oil with no blends or fillers. Been using it daily for eggs, roasting, and quick pan cooks solid quality and worth it.

BEST for Summer Salads
Now that it’s summer I’ve been on the hunt to find a clean oil for my regular salads… a lot of extra virgin olive oils are a blend of oils that’s misleading… this avocado flavour from this particular oil has such a lovely after taste to my salads, highly recommend!

I’ve been using this avocado oil for a few months now, and it has completely transformed my cooking! Being health conscious, I’ve been looking for a good high smoke point oil that I can use for all types of cooking - I’m so glad I’ve finally found this. I use it for salad dressings, frying, baking, everything. The quality is 10/10 - it is so smooth and buttery, with a subtle, delicious flavour. Definitely recommend!
