This light up pad works great! So good in fact it is used by everyone in the house. From my daughter using it to trace drawings, to my husband using for tattoos, and me using it for diamond painting it’s come in handy! The size is great, very bright, lightweight and easy to move making it portable. Overall we’re very happy with this product and definitely recommend for anyone to use for hobby’s or practicing their skill.

Very nice, simple light table! I can see my drawings through both paper and light fabrics, which is a plus! Wish it had some light intensity settings though, so I could regulate how bright I want the light to be.

My daughter is an artist who is really into arts and crafts. She uses this for creating stickers and for mapping out original cross stitch patterns. The size of this light box is massive, but thin enough to stow in a backpack alongside her other supplies. It is powered by a USB cord. The light is bright and the surface is flat and smooth. This is good for combining different elements into her projects and for copying things that she needs multiples of, but as her tablet does something similar, this would not replace that for her more in-depth art projects. But it's good to have for those times when toting around an expensive tablet would not be appropriate.

Strong enough to trace over basic printer paper or thinner. The USB plug makes it convenient for setup most anywhere.

Once again I receive an electronic product that HAS to be plugged in to use... and they send a cord but no plug. I am so tired of playing roulette with my few plugs because they "aren't included." WHY?!?!Now that I have voiced my complaint about this product.... I just gotta say... THIS THING IS AWESOME!Super thin.I am not afraid to draw on it.I can set it on my lap and use it.OMG I never even thought of using this for weeding vinyl... GAME CHANGER!!!It isn't rechargeable - you have to keep it plugged in. YET THEY DON'T SEND A PLUG. The cord is long though, although it is a micro-USB not a USB-C as so many others have converted to. That may be by design, they are slightly smaller so a USB-C might not have fit - it really is thin.The edges are square but not sharp.And, as shown in my photos: I grabbed the first things I could find, which turned out to be a product assembly page for a phone holder and a piece of heavy cardstock. I was able to see the product page through the cardstock (cardstock!! - 300 gsm!) on both the brightest and the dimmest settings. I also placed a piece of un-weeded cut vinyl on - a thought that didn't occur to me until I returned to the product page before writing this review to check the price and vendor claims. To be fair, the piece of vinyl shown has been sitting in my vinyl scrap drawer for quite some time, so the inner cuts are probably a fairer representation of what weeding on this is like.I LOVE THIS THING. They lost one star for not including a plug, especially considering it has to be plugged in to work.

I highly recommend the RTjoy Light Tracing Box Pad.It arrived undamaged and without any odors or chemical smells.Using it is simple - just plug it into a USB port and press the on button.The light is very bright, making it easy to trace whatever you need. The surface is smooth without any imperfections, and after several months of use, there are no signs of wear and tear.My daughter has been using this for her art and is quite pleased with it.It's a great affordable option for casual use.

I haven't tried one of this style of light tables, but I'm very impressed. It's fantastically thin and lightweight, so easy to use, move and hold. The centimeter markings are clear and helpful. The light is perfectly bright and diffused throughout, making it a perfect tracing table.

My previous light box is over 40 years old so things have certainly changed over the years. I really like the size of this light box. I’ve been using it for tracing patterns for some crafty projects I do. First, I really like the flatness of this box (my old light box is huge and has bulbs that light up an opaque glass piece). I can literally store this light box with my monitor in a small case. The light is ample for tracing and can be adjusted to various levels. I like that it is USB and energy efficient. The cord isn’t real long, but I ended up using it with a power brick and I can work anywhere with it which is wonderful! One other thing is that it is not at all hot to use (if you ever used an old style light box, you will understand what I mean). Great price point, too! FIVE STARS!

Arrived in shipping box, box, padded envelope, plastic envelope. Included is light plate, instructions, micro usb charging cable.You will need your own wall charger or power bank to hook this up. The included micro usb cable has an L bend, so it hugs the plate parallel. Let's face it. Any cord design can be annoying, depending on your usage, but there's no dearth of micro usb cables and adapter ends out there if you want to swap out.After initial poking around with it:The light plate shines at varying levels. Not sure I'd use anything but the brightest. Wish it was even stronger light, as calligraphy sheets can be fairly thick.Power/light strength is touchscreen button in a front corner. Light strength variation can be very fiddly and might be accidentally turned off if you rest your hand on it while working.Light plate has a ruler grid around the edges, which might be useful to others using smaller than A4/letter size sheets.The plate is very portable, good for throwing in a backpack as it's definitely thin and lightweight. You'll need a desktop drafting board if you want to angle it up from flat. Would recommend a small sketch board be used under it if you're using it in your lap as it's bendable. You might want to consider a foil or mirror film covered board under it to help bounce light back up where you need it. It only has 4 corner tabs to minimally hold it off a table surface.No idea how durable it is. It appears to be an LED string sandwiched into the plastic plate which diffuses thru the plate surface to light it up.

I've started to become a little more artsy lately, though I'm not sure why because I'm still terrible.The idea for this was to trace some images and have a go at painting a picture, or colouring it in, so in full transparency I've only tested this to trace something and nothing else.It's very simple to use, and has one button (to turn on and off and to adjust the screen brightness by holding it). It has a nice large tracing area, enough to easily hold an A4 piece of paper with plenty of space.I'm not sure however that the brightness goes far enough, especially in the sun though you can tell it has an anti-glare coating, which does work for some but not all of the light, so best to use this somewhere darker or at least out of direct sunlight.I am slightly miffed that this has a Micro USB connection as well, these ports are practically defunct now, so no idea why they've decided to use this medium.Overall, it's great for tracing, though does feel a little flimsy, so I do question how long this thing will last.3.5/5 - Good product, slight improvements needed!
