The instructions say to apply it between shampooing and conditioning and rinse it off but I just use it liberally while my hair is dry, out of the shower, and leave it in and it works great. (FYI it's NOT a gel, it's liquid.) Doesn't leave residue of any kind. The applicator helps target specific areas too. I hope they never change this formula. Highly, highly recommend.

Ok, I’m not sure I have ever left a product review on Amazon, but just had to for this product. This stuff is AMAZING!!!! I have long, thick, course hair and can barely ever brush it. Literally, I have to let it air dry, run my finger through forever before I can even think about putting a brush to it. I took a trip to Cabo and with the pool chemicals and the ocean water, my hair was a DISASTER! I looked for anything that would get the gross smell out and settled on this product. To my surprise, my hair was amazingly silky, I ran a brush right through it while wet and the smell came out of my hair! I am sold!!! I’ve even told my hairdresser as I do the expensive kerastatase treatments.

This product works well for soothing my dry, itchy scalp and has gotten rid of most of the dry flakes. It smells kind of like a nice men’s cologne/apples, which is not awesome as a woman using it but the smell mellows out and doesn’t bother me after my hair is dry.

Beast after shampoo rinse for smooth hair. I use this after every other shampoo and before I deep condition. My scalp is so clean and conditioned afterwards.

I have a really itchy scalp due to pregnancy, but this doesn’t seem to do anything for me. It’s easy to apply and smells nice. It feels good in the moment, but my scalp still itches a lot through the day.

I have never had a hair product that was this good. It literally stopped my dandruff on the first use. I apply it a little differently than the instructions. I applied it hours before I wash my hair. Once washed, it literally cleaned my scalp. No dandruff appeared after the first use. So, I’m on my third week and still no dandruff. However, I use it once a week before washing my hair.
