K&F CONCEPT Variable Fader ND2-ND32 Filter & Black Diffusion 1/4 Filter

The big draw to getting an Osmo Pocket 3 instead of using my phone is that is can shoot cinematic footage, but unfortunately, the only way to get that kind of footage is by adding on an ND filter so that the shutter speed can sit properly at double the fps. I was looking for just a variable ND filter at first and was looking separately for a diffusion filter and was pleasantly surprised when I found this combo. I have used K&F filters before and have been happy with their quality so I thought I would give it a go. I did some tests which I posted that show the results of keeping my settings at 3k 24fps 1/50 for each shot. I shot in LOG so I brought the footage into my editor and threw the same basic LUT on all of my clips without making adjustments for each clip separately so I could see what difference the ND filter would make. As you can see from the clip, the ND by itself makes a huge difference and although you can't see a huge difference with the diffusion filter in these shots, you can definitely see that the light has a nice bloom effect. Also another great thing about the lens is that you can keep it on when the camera is on and off without obstructing the camera when closing. I know some other ND filters would not allow you to shut off the camera because it wouldnt fit when closed, but this is not an issue here. Overall I would highly recommend so far if you have an OSMO Pocket 3 and are looking for better colors and more cinematic footage from your camera.

He usado este filtro un par de ocasiones de 1 a 5 pasos, me ha sido útil pero prefiero los fijos. Sin embargo para muchos esto sería suficiente, muy recomendado.

Good filter so far. Only crappy thing about it is you can't interpose it on top of the wide angle lens too. Kind of stupid without that feature. Make a product that works for the accessories that is common with the osmo 3

Adjustable so only need one and not have to fiddle with changing filters all the time. Doesn't need to be remove when gimbal is off is a huge plus

Ein Top Filter von K&F. Leider habe ich ihn beim zweiten Einsatz schon verloren. Kann mir aber kaum vorstellen das es wegen ungenügender magnetischer Haftung war. Die ist meines Erachtens nämlich ausreichend. Ich habe an ihm die geringe Aufbauform sehr angenehm empfunden. So muß man ihn nicht immer abnehmen und kann ihn getrost auf der Linse des Osmo Pocket 3/4 darauf lassen. Der Gimbal klappt nach dem Ausschalten vollständig ein. Schade das ich nicht weiter mit ihm testen kann, was so alles machbar ist.
