Acelion Playing Cards Wolf Waterproof Black Plastic Poker Playing Gift Cards for Collection

I don’t usually do many reviews unless extremely happy or upset over a product. This time, I’m very happy with a tiny disappointment & some advice. :) to the maker of these cards, plz use a brighter color like the turquoise shown or maybe a metallic mix to make it easier for the customer to see the cards they are playing with in even low light. Now, for the review. Yes, the color is Not as shown in the sellers pictures. That isn’t the color. The color you will get is a rich blue like the color of the sky in the fall. It’s very pretty but unfortunately it is hard to see against the black background. After playing with for a week, my eyes adjusted to the shade & was able to play better but still couldn’t do so in low light. As for the durability? I have used these cards, as has family, for a couple of hours every single day Of the past two weeks. They are very nice! I love how they feel in your hands & how easily they can be shuffled. They are great to do card tricks with too. Also, if you are or know an avid card player, you know how cards can get dirty after so much use, feel nasty & don’t get me started if they wet. Oh my! These cards have absolutely None of those issues! They are waterproof, & do not soak up the oils from your hands &can be easily cleaned if you accidentally get a delicious snack on them. I recommend these cards to those who don’t have an issue with the colors. If they fix this issue I’ll recommend them 100%! Shalom…

These cards are so cool looking. They feel like they are very good quality. We got them for a gift which was perfect because they are so shiny with the gold. Loved the style of the cards and the design.

used three times and already peeling and breaking down. Easily scratched which is expected but not to peel. Four decks all four looks to be years old after a couple of weeks, one thrown out as well from the wear. For the price and longevity you're better off with bulk dollar store ones to throw away after they start peeling

These cards are fantastic from a functionality standpoint. I've owned multiple plastic waterproof card decks before, and from a durability and usability standpoint, they are great. Every card face also has a gloss black pair of wolves in their center, which is a really nice touch, so if it's just the wolf motif you like, you'll love these. What's not so great is how tim the actual card colors are. The outer box appears just as you see in the pictures provided by the company. Nice vibrant blue on black. The hearts and diamonds are in a dull silver, which is fine, and readable. The clubs and spades, however are in a MUCH darker blue. Not dark enough to be unreadable on the black, but definitely not the vibrant blue that's pictured on the box and in photographs on this page. If the box and cards used the same blue, and they were both darker, I'd still be disappointed, but I'd understand. The fact that there is a blue that shows up quite nicely on the outside of the black box, but that same blue wasn't used on the cards themselves just doesn't make sense from a manufacturing point of view, so even though I rate these 3/5 on the easy to read scale, 4/5 on the giftable scale, and a 5/5 in durability, I have to dock a whole star from the average rating on this alone! It's that badly mind numbing...
