I got these as an alternative to the stock ear pads that come with Sony WH1000-XM5 because the originals caused a skin reaction. They were easy to replace because of their clear instructions. They were actually more comfortable. Sadly, they are made of the same material. I reached out to the company, they were understanding and gave me a refund. If they start using other material that is not Soft PU Leather, I will definitely buy them.

First of all, I think it does a really good job of replicating the original. The colour is spot on. However, there are a few differences. First it sticks out a bit more than the original ones, and has creases along the outside and inside. It also isn’t as soft, which you can feel clearly when you put it on. But only by slightly. It doesn’t feel as moulded to my head as the originals. But! For what it is I think it does a really good job! And if none of this bother you then it’s all good! 😌 in the video the one on the left is the wicked cushions, right is the original.

J’ai commandé ces coussinets pour donner une seconde vie à mon Sony WH-1000XM5, dont les coussinets d’origine commençaient à montrer des signes d’usure. Et franchement, je suis agréablement surpris. Le remplacement est assez simple et, une fois installés, ils donnent vraiment l’impression d’avoir retrouvé un casque neuf. Le confort est excellent, avec une bonne épaisseur et un contact agréable autour des oreilles. Le gros point positif pour moi est qu’ils semblent même meilleurs que les coussinets d’origine. Ils offrent un bon maintien, restent confortables sur de longues sessions et donnent une sensation de qualité tout à fait à la hauteur du XM5. C’est donc une excellente solution pour éviter de remplacer un casque qui fonctionne encore parfaitement. Pour le prix, je trouve que c’est une façon simple et efficace de prolonger sa durée de vie. Après plusieurs mois utilisations, je suis pleinement satisfait de cet achat et je les recommande sans hésiter aux possesseurs de WH-1000XM5 dont les coussinets commencent à fatiguer.

Much better than expected. Ear feel is nice, bit stiffer than stock pads. The extra space helps allot. ANC still works more then good enough. Doesn't change the sound profile too much. I hope they include measurements in audio response, like dekoni do in the future. That would be really helpful for those of us that have a eq for stock pads. That way i don't have to adjust it by ear.

I got these for my Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones, which are great headphones overall but let down by the weirdly thin and uncomfortable ear pads. The originals look a bit more slick, but they were actually hurting my ears and head when I wore them. These solved the problem and are much more comfortable for long sessions. I think they might let in a little more noise than the originals but the noise cancelling still works great if you care about that. I leave mine in pass-through mode so I don't care. I haven't had any issues with quality and they still look new over a year later.
