Not really.  It was recommended by a nutritionist in Missouri to my mother.  She is almost 94.  Related to her age, he told her that she only needed to take type 2.  He said that his other patients take the full spectrum of Collagen types and are closely monitored. He recommended that without monitoring the she only take Type II... and this particular brand. She does not live in Missouri but has been going to this nutritionist for 40 years. Her complaint was related to aches in her legs in the morning.  She lives alone.

2400 mg collagen type 2 from sternal chicken containing Hyaluronic acid, glucosamine and chondroitin. It’s a mega dose of collagen type 2 if you take four capsules and the best I have found. I tested 11 different brands and got zero results than I found this after reading a research white paper off the net encouraging larger doses. Nearly instant improvement !

I was stung by wasps 9 times and had an allergic reaction ending up in rescue squad. My knee swelled so bad that I had knee pain and developed arthritis really bad in my knee.
