This toy is AMAZING! I really wasn't sure what to expect. But my granddaughter said she really wanted it. This item came with so many fabric choices, embelishments and add ons. It has provided hours upon hours of designer fun for her. The only thing I would change is that the doll heads do pop off a little too easy. But otherwise this was money well spent!

7 year old is OBSESSED. She makes the clothes, I hand stitch it together.*This kit is just made for designing clothes and keeping them on the mannequin. However, I am able to use my beginner-level sewing skills to stitch it all together.

I got this for my girls but was surprised that the boys are just as interested.(They don't spend as long with it, but it's cute that they want to design dresses).I ended up buying more ribbon and bedazzle jewels, etc., to enhance the experience. I even founda few more mannequins elsewhere because the kids like to leave their designs on display for a few days, but thiswas a great starter kit and a good investment.

Bought this along with a fashion design notebook for my niece for Christmas. She absolutely loves it! She had a 9+ hour drive home, and we got pictures of her creations that evening. She couldn't wait to pull it out and start designing some of the outfits she had drawn. In terms of age-level appropriateness, she is 19 and really enjoyed it, however does have maturity delays due to her past pre-adoption home life and medical situation (deaf and is slowly losing her eyesight). But fashion design has always been an interest of hers, and I was very impressed with what she came up with! This is a fantastic creative outlet for her to reflect an area where she shines.
