キャンプでの風呂は私にとって重要で、薪を使ったりアウトドア仕様の温水シャワー（日本では少ないので海外から買ってます）を使って沸かしたりと悪戦苦闘しながらやってました。 しかし、これならお風呂が沸くのも早いし比較的シンプルな構成でお風呂＆シャワーが実現しました。 川の水などから、直接シャワーにするとお湯加減が難しく熱すぎて、風呂に貯めた水を巡回させ沸かした後にシャワーに使ってます。 お風呂のお湯を使ってシャワー後にお風呂に入るという流れです。 今まで２時間近くかかっていたのですが、これだと４０分程度（時期にもよります）で丁度いい湯加減になるのでキャンプには必須になりました。 コネクタ部分などがなかなか合わず、探すのに苦労しましたが、誰もいない川などでの露天風呂は最高です。 コンパクトなのでこちらを選びましたが、もっと安いタイプのでも同じことが出来ると思います。詳しくはないですが・・・ 何にしても優雅に過ごす為のキャンプには必需品になりました。

My old CampLux heater I had been using for about six summers died this year, realized just before a camping trip. I got this one mainly because it had 1 day shipping that I needed, but I am happy with this unit. The Winter/Summer dial just changes if two burners come on, or just one. So in winter mode you will get hotter water, if you need water over 100 degrees, otherwise summer is nice to keep the water in the 90s range. This is attached directly to a camp sink, so we use summer setting for washing hands and stuff, and use winter setting to get hotter water for washing dishes. Beyond the summer/winter setting, you can change the flame height using the heat setting dial to get the exact temp you want. The digital display is something my old heater did not have, and it is handy to have that available. It has not failed to light for me when turning on the water pressure, and we used it several times a day for over a week when camping this year. I did not see how long it will heat, but I know my old one had a safety feature where it would auto turn off after about five minutes. Based on the reviews saying it turns off, I assume this heater has that feature as well, and that is not failure, it is a safety feature. It was easy to move my fittings over to it, and they supply the teflon tape for the connections. I used the tape for both the gas and water line fittings and I had no leaks. There is an adapter supplied to allow a garden hose fitting for the water in. They assume you will be using the showerhead, so they supply no adapter for the output to go to a garden hose, but I already had those adapters from my old heater that I moved over. All in all, the price was good at $100, since it was generally about $50 less than other camp heaters available. I don't see where the more expensive ones give you anything more than this one, so it seems like a good deal. I had paid almost $200 for my old CampLux heater when I bought it years ago. Time will tell, but I hope to get several years out of this one as well.

We bought this to heat our spa quicker and cheaper then electric. We've used this twice so far and it heated it quickly. We still need to test it once winter is here and the water is much colder and see if it works as quickly or at least not a whole lot longer. We would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this for camping. This is NOT for camping as I know it meaning going to a normal tent campsite. I tried every configuration of the batteries but no lights ever came on. Either I got a dud or, more likely, it didn’t have the incoming water. This unit requires water to be pumped in. If you connect it to a hose, you will have the incoming pressure. But very few campsites have their own spigots and certainly not if you’re hiking. If that’s your scenario like me, you would need to buy a pump that would sit in a bucket and push the water up. I have no idea what pump would do that and at that point it’s not portable. A true tankless camping shower looks like a portable battery pack and costs more than this but if you want a “plug and play” instant hot water shower for camping that’s what you need. I’m returning this and still unhappy because I wasted a lot of time and effort on something that was never going to work. (And I’m out the cost of the batteries)
