Crew Classic Softside Carry-On Luggage, Blue, 20-Inch

recently purchased the Travelpro Crew Classic 20-Inch Compact Carry-On, and I’m incredibly happy with it. In fact, it's so good that I'm almost done completing my entire Travelpro Crew luggage set! Here are the standout features for me: International Flight Friendly: The compact 20-inch size is fantastic because it complies with stricter airline overhead restrictions, which is a massive plus when traveling internationally. Convenient Front Pocket: The front pocket has just the right amount of space. It easily stores my laptop or iPad, making it effortless to pull them out during airport security checks. Incredible Wheels: The 8-wheel spinners are easily my favorite part. The suitcase is exceptionally smooth to maneuver, glide, and push through busy terminals. My only minor uncertainty is how the wheels will hold up over time on rough roads or cobblestones, but given Travelpro's reputation for durability, I have high hopes. Overall, this is a stellar piece of luggage and I highly recommend it!

Great suitcase for traveling, use every other week as carry on. Only one complaint is it does get front heavy at times and likes to fall over forward when I have backpack on top of suitcase, but besides that it's great!!!

This bag is a breeze to travel with. The wheels turn on a dime, which makes navigating a busy airport so much easier than my old luggage! This was the only bag I found made by a well-known company that fits the dimensions for American Airlines carry-on size. Others were about an inch over when considering wheels and handles (may have worked but didn’t want to chance it). This lightweight bag is also easy for me to get in and out of the overhead compartment myself without a struggle. The bag is constructed well, with heavy-duty zippers and handles. It’s not a cheap suitcase, but you get what you pay for. There’s a reason why so many flight personnel have TravelPro luggage.

Perfect size and no need to worry about it being allowed with any of the new carry on changes. However, it ROLLS...almost too well. Don't take your eyes off of it or it might just disappear. It also tips over way too easily if you place anything other than a very lightweight tote on top...forget about a backpack or tote with your laptop, assorted cords and chargers and the other necessity of a long flight.

I was a little nervous about storage capacity compared to my two wheel Rick Steves overhead roller which side by side is larger. We don't like to check luggage so having something that can get in and out of the overhead compartment is critical. It fits in smaller overhead on southwest with ease. It seems like after it's packed full and it won't take any more I can still jam in a few more items stretching it to the max. . Zippers and seams seem like they can take some abuse and not fail. Having the four wheels glide with ease in airport and in aisle on planes but if it's not on level ground it will roll away. Also jammed full the weight is manageable for a senior citizen.

The bag is quality made. And, this bag size has worked on all international/domestic flights for me with no size issues. The reason I give it a 3 star is because it becomes unstable and tips over easily if you use any kind of tote bag with it. And, especially if you have a laptop or heavier items loaded up in the front pocket. I use the travel pro tote bag designed to go under my seat. This combo, especially if my tote bag is full, can be a disaster. Im constantly fighting to keep it from falling over. Without any kind of tote attached it works pretty well. Just wish it was more stable. The front pocket already protrudes beyond the wheel/base. So it doesn’t take much for it to become unstable. All the material are high quality. This bag has flown about 150K miles and still looks brand new.

Compact size is within regulation for most of the major airlines. No second guessing if it will fit. I flew on regional jet fit just fine laying horizontal and on a 737 800 fit great wheels first on its side. The wheels are just like the platinum elite. Wife really enjoyed the bag for our trip to jamacia

My last wheeled carry-on suitcase bit the dust - its handle snapped off while walking down an airport concourse! After looking at many carry-on suitcases & reading many hundreds of reviews, I bought a Travelpro Crew ClassicLightweight Softside Expandable Carry on. I never check luggage if I can help it, & I wanted a suitcase I could carry on with both US and international airlines. I haven't traveled with this yet, but am impressed with its sturdy handle with 6 different lengths - this will accommodate people of different heights and allow plenty of room to attach a carry-on bag on top. It's got grab handles on three sides, handy top pocket, as front pocket big enough for a laptop or an assortment of personal articles or a jacket. The main compartment opens from the side so that it won't take up as much space when opened. The interior is very nice, with a long zippered interior pocket and a clip-in insert with two pockets, one of them for liquids. And it's expandable too. The zippers work smoothly. The blue color with brown trim looks very classy. I'm confident I'll be happy with this suitcase!

I'm picky about Carry-on luggage and although I haven't found a perfect soft-sided roller, this one is as close as I've found. Fairly light, excellent wheels, sturdy ergonomic handle, expands a bit, well organized and well made. I travel light and if I add my TravelPro Crew Tote, I'm good for a 3-4 week trip(with some laundry along the way). The only way to get something I like better would be to design and manufacture a soft-sided roller myself. I look forward to many years of organized Carry-on travel.

Just used these for our first 3 month trip abroad. Super build quality, going to last for a while. All the parts seem to be really well thought out and put together. Was easy to use both as a carry on and when checked. Going to be using these for a long time.
