Some of my favorite recipes to bake over the years have been Sarah’s—I was so happy to be able to pre-order this book!The book has a few very beautiful, more complicated recipes for experienced bakers, but is also full of very fun, easy, delicious classic desserts for someone just beginning. It also has an entire section in the beginning of the book dedicated to equipment and education that is actually helpful.The recipes are great, I love the way they are separated out. The photography is stunning throughout. There is a section dedicated to very impressive looking desserts that I know I will be dipping into for dinner parties and family gatherings.I love that in the back of the book is a great selection of 1-2 serving desserts—yes yes yes. More of this!I’m so happy to be able to support Sarah as an author. As a lifetime baker I have enjoyed her videos and blog so much. She brings such a fun, lovely disposition to baking that makes her content accessible for anyone who wants to make something sweet.I bought one for myself and will be buying others for family members. Great book.

I absolutely love this cookbook! It has so many great dessert recipes, and everything I’ve tried so far has turned out delicious.One of my favorite things is that every single recipe includes a picture, which makes it so much easier to know what you’re aiming for and adds to the inspiration when choosing what to bake next.This book is perfect for anyone who loves baking sweet treats and wants clear, visually guided recipes. I would definitely recommend it to any dessert lover!

Recommended by my PT, he got it for his daughter and said she makes great treats from the recipes so I bought it. I just started baking cookies a year ago (not hard) and wanted to step up my game. Made two cookie recipes and they were huge hits with my fans! Great book for beginners like me who are on the learning curve. Easy to more challenging recipes so this should keep me entertained for a while.

This is my favorite dessert book to date. I love her recipes on TikTok, and they always come up perfect. I love that she has all of her recipes also on video, and you can look them up and see what you need if you don't understand something from the book. I feel like with this book, I've nailed every recipe because they end up looking exactly as promised. easy to follow and yummy!Heads up: Always remove 50-70g of sugar from the recipes! I feel like they still come up perfect and less sugary.

This book is amazing.Here I am, sitting in my bed at midnight, eating a chunk of Double Chocolate Banana Bread. I have followed Sarah/Broma Bakery on instagram for a while now and ordered this book the second she announced it. I have ZERO regrets. I plan on baking through the entire book and let me tell ya, if the rest of it is anything like this first recipe (the banana bread) then it is going to be GOOD.I have been going FERAL on this banana bread. It is unlike any banana bread I have ever made. The recipe was incredibly easy and didn't have any annoying ingredients that you're hesitant to buy because you'll probably never use it again. It is SO GOOD. I can't upload a picture of it because I have just been ripping it apart in chunks. I literally do not have the patience to cut it with a knife. This recipe wasn't even one that I was looking forward to the most (there's some amazing looking cookie and brownie recipes?!?!) but this one STILL blew me away.Buy this book. It's a great price, the design is beautiful, and the recipes are amazing.

This cookbook is my favorite right now. Her recipes are clearly written and go into great details. I’ve used several recipes so far and am extremely pleased with how they go together nicely and come out perfect. It’s not easy to find a cookbook like this one that you can rely on the results of your recipe. She is awesome, and so are her recipes. Love the fact that the pictures are beautiful. I’d recommend this cookbook for anyone who wants to bake with confidence.

I want to start out by stating I've had this book for over a year and have made many recipes from it, most of them successfully. I'm a seasoned baker but don't always want to follow all the complicated steps in a book like "Dessert Person". This is good for simple, easy-to-follow recipes with a few caveats.As other reviewers have mentioned, the recipes are tested by volume not weight, so if you convert the volume to grams then measure, your results might not be consistent. I'm at sea level and the cook times are almost always too low, and that is not an issue for me with other cookbooks so I think it is due to the volume/weight issue.The banana bread was actually delicious but took an additional 30 minutes from the listed cook time. The apple blondies were pretty greasy though they had nice flavor. I think this is due to the weight issue.Some favorites: the lemon poppy seed rolls, oatmeal cream pies, hot chocolate cookies, and the brown butter chocolate chip cookies are all staple recipes for me. I bring them to parties and they get devoured, and also aren't super high-effort.Overall I use it a lot so I like it for that reason but I wouldn't gift it to someone unless they were already a seasoned baker.

So excited to start baking! I’ve been following Sarah for quite a while so to have her book is amazing! Loved it so much that I bought an extra one for my niece as a birthday gift and I’m already wanting an extra one for my sister !

Would love to have measures in metrics but otherwise, perfection!
