I used the Posi locks to connect electrical wires. They’re great. The connection is secure unless you undo it.

I love these connectors. They make a VERY solid connection (done correctly) and IF something goes wrong and/or you made a mistake you can easily take them apart and reuse them. They cost a little more but well worth it IMO

Simple to use and probably the best way to connect wires without using soldier.

Perfect for what I needed - extending the sprinkler controller wires. Super easy to use and holds the wires super tight with good connection.

Expensive but worth it

I like to use these connectors when it's not practical to solder. I have used them extensively for wiring on my motorcycle, and always keep extras with me in case I need to repair a wire and don't actually have any butt connectors. There are different kind of connectors as well, and I have used them to splice in to other wires also. Easy, finger tighten. I have had some on my motorcycle for 4 and 6 years now and have had no issues. They are not water proof, but could be made water proof if you will utilize them for a permanent connection as well. Very handy to have to save me, or someone else in a wiring pinch.
