This is the first cooler I've ever bought so I can't compare it to others. I use this in a small ish room (~2.5m x 3.5m) with terrible insulation and only one window (gets hot in there really quickly). I fill it up with mostly cold tap water and then a few ice cubes, and the cool mist that comes out of it works quite well to be honest, the fan is quite loud and you can hear the mist mechanism doing its thing but the noise doesn't bother me personally. I have it sitting on a desk, if I'm at the desk I only need to use low or medium fan power, low or medium mist power, and I get enough cool air for my needs, pointing directly at me about 1m/3ft away (and I hate being in a hot room). If I want to cool the whole room a bit I can leave it where it is on the desk, direct it to the other end of the room, put it on medium/high power & mist, and then also use a standard 12-16" fan which just blows air around but helps disperse the cool air (recommended). It's easy to use and fill up, it looks nice for what it is, and the lighting LEDs are a bonus. BE AWARE when using the mist function the product does drip water down the front vents and to the bottom of the machine, BUT THIS IS NORMAL, there is an empty space for this leakage at the bottom, and a small plug at the back where you can drain it out. It does leave water marks on the front vent though which you can just clean off if it bothers you. If you're done using it but there is still water in the top tank you can tip it upside down to empty that water so it doesn't go stale, it doesn't affect the product at all doing this. How do I know all this?? Because I asked the seller a bunch of questions and they were very helpful and responsive, a pleasure to deal with to be honest! Overall I'm really happy so far and I recommend it, especially for personal cooling while at a desk, or a small room with another regular fan, and as long as you don't mind making ice cubes in your freezer. But I haven't tried it without ice cubes, it may work just as good with only cold water (but I doubt it). I'm only using this at home, if you wanted to take it to your place of work I'm sure it would work fine, but you would probably need to fill it up 2-4 more times in an 8 hour shift with continuous use (I'm guessing, based on my usage). Recommended, and a pleasure to deal with the seller, friendly and responsive within 24hours and answers all your questions.

The fan was working really well then all of a sudden out of no where it just stopped no idea why and not happy about it.

This a great little cooler, easy to use, and quite quiet when on, I timed getting this well, as not long after delivery we had some sun in the Uk, and then I noticed the price increased. Overall I am happy it’s light to carry, easy to fill with water and empty, on a low setting the water only last 2/3 hours before you need to refill, so I check it when getting up for the loo in the night. Disappointed it doesn’t charge with the USB so you can use it without a usb port/plug being nearby. I didn’t get the 1.5m cord that’s advertised so had to buy that separately and another reviewer mentions a remote, nope didn’t get that either, if 8 had paid todays price I would be annoyed and sent it back for what I paid it will do the job as I don’t have room for an air con unit in the bedroom, hopefully this will work as I hope in the summer.

Great item, does the job very well

It's OK, I did think it was going to be better than it was and cool the room down , but not the case , OK for a bedside table blowing directly onto you , but what can I expect for the price 🤷‍♀️

This fan was fantastic when it first arrived; the water misting function really makes a difference in cooling compared with a normal basic fan.However, 35 days after purchase (just outside of the return period) the misting function has completely stopped working. The fan is still operational and the lights for the different misting functions still illuminate when pressed but no mist comes out and it doesn't make the recognisable noise it made previously. It is effectively now just a regular box fan, which is nowhere near as useful as it doesn't cool the air anymore. Very disappointing it was not more durable or long lasting.

Great fan for cooling. Great quality, I have run it 24/7 for months and no issues so far.

I don’t normally review but bought these for the heatwave this week and I’ve had them on in each of the rooms and the rooms feel much cooler. Ideal for the kids especially trying to go to sleep on an evening. Easy to set up and use.We live in a new build and the temperatures get to 30 degrees in the bedrooms so if you are thinking of buying then I would recommend.
