All tea kettles I had before were without a whistle. I guess this was a time for me to try one for a change. This was my very first Tea Ketle with whistle and It instantly WON my heart. It is a perfect size, perfect design and perfect quality. The sound of whistle is surprisingly not annoying and turned out very useful. It is easy to fill with the water and I especially love that handle is not moving, which make me more comfortable and safe to use it when it is hot. I cannot find any cons in this product. It is just perfect in everything and I cannot believe the price I paid - just $13.99! I am very happy that I got this tea kettle and recommend it to all.

Just about the right size for a couple cups of tea, or an early morning instant bowl of grits or oatmeal.

Well made holds a lot of water

It works just fine. Looks great too. The handle does not get hot. It whistles fine. Can’t find anything wrong with this.

I needed a quick tea kettle replacement because the other one burned. I found this economical one on Amazon. It was advertised as the handle was not ever hot to the touch after boiling water. This is false. Also, the opening not where you pour the water in but at the spout the plastic cover? Doesn’t stay flat so often times it takes longer to heat water in the tea kettle than normal. Also, when boiling water after a while, the tea kettle seem to produce flakes swimming around in the boiling water, so I believe that the inside of the tea kettle was beginning to deteriorate. Waste of time waste of money.

For the price it's alright. Quality wise not good. The handle is of course plastic over time it will crack. And the aluminum or metal it's made from is a little to thin I would say.

I ordered this as a gift for my husband. He enjoys tea at night. He wanted a new Kettle and this one is perfect. The matte finish cleans up easy and the whistle is loud.
