Which works better for coloring books the fine point or ultra fine point?

Hi, Angela:For larger spaces, the fine point Sharpies work better than the Ultra fine point. For the smaller spaces, the Ultra Fine Point works best. Although I have used the fine point in smaller spaces, but I had to go really slow and methodically to keep it from going over the lines.

Can you use on fabric?

Yes, but like any permanent marker, it will fade over time if the fabric is washed.

How well will these pens work on embossed image? (As in embossing powder and rubber stamping)?

The markers will show over the embossing. The embossing will not resist the color. The embossing powder (once melted) is not damaging to the marker. Depending on the effect you want, these will work... but they’re not high quality crafting supplies.

What colors are these 24 Gem Markers?

There are some original, classic, pastels, and cosmic colors included in the 24 pack. Those are: Black, Blue, Green, Mint, Peach, Pink, Red, Purple, Orion Orange, and Celestial Gray. The new MG specific colors are Amber, Jasper Green, Teal Tigers Eye, Tanzanite, Citrine, Aquamarine, Cabochon Coral, Purple Flourite, Rose Quartz, Geode Green, Violet Chacedony, Blue Topaz, Lavender MIca, and Peacock Blue (note: different shade than the Peacock Blue special edition that came with the Spinner Holiday Limited Edition set)

Nice selection of colors, no issues with durability

Loved the selection of colors for a project with my grand kids. The project didn't require a ton of coloring, so I can't really speak to how long lasting they are. But past experience with Sharpie pens would suggest that these will be functional for many months and projects to come.

There just aren’t any other markers that work as good as sharpies. Which I guess is why the company can also sell them at a premium price (a little under one dollar/marker). But seriously, sharpies are expensive but they work so good and these were no exception. The colors are vibrant and they don’t smear or smudge when using them. They’re great for projects and fine details- especially with the fine point in this set (versus the more standard thick markers). Overall, I’m happy and would buy these again. Especially if I can snag them on a deal of the day!
