I purchased the 8000 btu model and it's super quiet and super powerful. My old one was too noisy to sleep comfortably so I purchased this on a whim hoping it would live up to it's description. Highly recommend and is less expensive than other brands. I have had zero issues with this keeping my bedroom cool and comfortable.

So far it's doing well. Likes:Very quiet,cools well although I haven't had a super hot day yet,side panels are much better than standard weak accordian style panels. Dislikes:didn't come with side panel seals as manual shows,doesn't show current room temp while in cooling mode so it's hard to tell if Tstat is accurate. Manual could be more detailed in operation dept. And the digital display fades out after a minute or 2 which I'm not a fan of. All in all I dig it. We'll see how it holds up this summer.

First day with the 8000. My room is pretty small but it was 97° in it when I installed this. It is so quiet I have to walk up to it to make sure it’s on! There is a thermometer out of direct airflow that read 85 but it was cold compared to right outside my door. I was worried about the old electrical in the house but with this maxed out, eco mode off, a ceiling fan with 3 lights, my computer with 2 monitors a heat lamp and under tank heating pad for the snakes I measured 5.5 amps at the breaker! Mounting is another story. They want to mount inside the house but with my style window that is impossible unless I want to anchor to paper thin aluminum window frame. I am working on framing it in with wood, I’m sure there is a mount for sale but I already have wood laying around so I’m choosing red oak. I might have spent more than I needed to but with a 15 energy rating and 42db noise level I feel like I made a good choice. It got cold. I turned on eco and sleep mode, set the temp for 74 and hours later it is still 74 and I’m still not sure if it’s on. It was not heavy, I have a lot of clutter to work around and my window won’t stay up but I installed it myself.

It installed into the window very easily and puts out a good amount of power. I can't speak to its longevity or if the inverter makes it use less electricity, however so far I'm pleased with the product.

The first unit was not cooling well at all. When you contact them via email it will take 24hr for response. Was able to get things worked out. I now have a perfectly working unit. It is quiet I’m able to work with customers without the noise. Things happen but it’s the correction that matters.

Never really got a chance to use it. It didn’t work out for me. It blew a circuit in my room. Tried to return it, but Customer Service refused to pay for the return label. They wanted to charge me $50 stocking fee and pay for shipping to return it. that’s just poor business policy!!! Beware!!!
