Gets the job done. Easy to pump.
Used it to raise one wheel on full sized pickup. Worked fine. Easy to pump and lowered like it should when released.

Check your clearance height
I see low reviews on here because people didn't think to check the height of their vehicle at the jack point. The height of this jack starts at 8" so if you have a car with lower height than this, you need to look for a different jack that's just a little under the car clearance height. Not too much less though, because this only goes up a little over 7" and you need to get your tire off the ground. Also, consider and leave room for a jack pad. The round top is small and only somewhat slotted, and I'd worry about it slipping off the frame rail, or possibly bending it. I got the "ABN 5-½in Large Jack Pad Universal Fit Cross Slotted Frame Rail Protector". This combo works great with my 2014 Subaru Forester, which has a clearance height of 8.7". I guess if you have a higher truck you could use a board underneath, but I'd be a little uneasy about the stability. Like all jacks, don't get under the vehicle unless you put it under jack stands.Jacking up my Subie is soooo much quicker and easier with this bottle jack over the scissors jack that comes with the car. I have a set of mounted winter tires so I'm not using jack stands that you might want if you are just rotating a set of tires. To lower the car it does a controlled release when you turn the lowering valve counterclockwise. But it only lowers it until the weight is off, and with that jack pad I found it just a little difficult to get the lift out from under the car. The demo video is shown without a car, and they just put a hand on the top to show how the lift lowers. I thought if I could lift the jack from the bottom against the frame it would lower it the rest of the way, but that didn't work for me. I think the rubber jack pad had enough flex for me to get the jack out but I only tried it once. The demo video is a bit odd in that it shows them turning the value a lot more than the 1/2 turn that the manual says to do. Not sure which way is right. I guess I'll turn it only as much as needed to lower it. To raise it, you turn it clockwise until it stops.
