Getting the arms on was a bit tricky. Just screw in each screw a little bit at a time. DO NOT screw in any screw completely until all screws are screwed in pretty far--same way you would put a tire back on your car. Chair is a little bit stiffer than it appears in the picture, but still pretty comfy for me. Arms are hardly padded, but I don't really need much padding, just a soft surface to lay my elbows, which it provides. Can't really lean back in the chair that much, kind of have to push it, but I'm 165 lbs so maybe bigger guys will have an easier time laying back in it. Great maneuverability, I am using it in my apartment on a carpeted surface, and it still moves around pretty well with hardly any catches. Took probably 20-30 mins to assemble, but I had a problem with the screws since I screwed a couple in all the way before the rest were even in.... So don't do what I did. Shipping was fast, and price was good ($70). I would look up the dimensions of the chair if you're a bigger guy because it seems a little smaller than I expected and I have a 32 waist and I'm 6'1"

Definitly Buy
This chair is great, it was easy to put together, I did it my self. I've had it since 2011, and it is just awesome, my son messes with it all the time, and it has held up. I can lean back and put my legs up on my desk and it's so comfortable that I can just fall asleep in it. I woulds recomend it to everyone because its a cheap price and great quallity.

Good price and value
This is a relatively inexpensive and solid chair. Mine came with a sort of deformity on one of the legs, it has a bit of a raised bump, a manufacturing defect that doesn't actually cause any problems but if you sit on it barefoot you'll notice it. I didn't dock a star for that however. The level to keep the back straight sometimes disengages on its own. I docked a star for that.Otherwise it's a pretty good chair. The height is adjustable and fits perfectly to my desk. The lining isn't real leather I don't think, but is some sort of hybrid, but it's not that bad. It's comfortable and has worked well so far, so I don't really have any complaints. The two issues I have with mine just might be defects that won't happen to you.I do remember it having a strange chemical smell for the first week or two that went away. I think it was the lining, pleather or whatever it is. It goes away though, and isn't really that bad even when it's there. These chairs generally should last at least 2 years or so. The lining will erode first, and then the hydraulics tend to fall apart not too much after that. That is why I don't think it's really worth buying an expensive one or getting top quality leather. After the lining begins to wear away you usually still have a few more years before it gets really bad. I hope to have this for 4-5 years total, with it being in perfect condition for at least 2 years.

Easy assembly, awesome comfort
I was really scared ab how hard it would be to put this chair together! It only took me under an hour from start to finish. The tools (screws and Allen Wrench) you need to assembly it are all included, so there is no need for additional tools. The visual instructions were easy to follow. Initially, I did put the arms on the wrong side of the chair but it was obvious and easy to switch. The additional support pillows are an added feature and they fit well, once you adjust the straps. The chair can tilt back 2-3 inches and a lever underneath allows you to raise it 2-3 inches, as well. The pressure pump that lifts/lowers it was already in tack so all I had to do was put in the screws to smoothly go up or down. It looks like something out of Star Wars and is very comfortable to sit in!

I'm surprisingly Impressed with this.
I'm sitting in the chair right now after assembly. My,.... this is a NICE CHAIR! I have a rather bad back, and just now getting over my latest spasm attack, so I need a strong lumbar, and shoulder support, and this is like sitting in a well made Sporting Shoe. Has a bit of a smell, from the resins in manufacturing, but that will probably pass. Quite strong actually at the moment. And I can see why... it's because of the thickness of the coverings.Assembly was incredibly stupid simple to follow. No "Chinglish" needed. Comes with all the tools... (allen wrench) and whole thing goes together in 15 min. I'm quite impressed, not even considering the price. We have chairs at work at $1000 bucks that don't feel this comfortable.

Junk!
When I purchased this chair I also paid for shipping and handling which is fine. I had to assemble which I expected, but, when it came time to screw the seat back plate to the bottom of the seat it wouldn't assemble as one of the screw holes was approx. 1/16" off so one corner couldn't be fastened.I contacted Amazon and got permission to return this defective chair but I would have to again pay for shipping charges (around $25.00). I feel this is a terrible policy that if a person orders a product in good faith and the product is defective that the customer shouldn't have to incur shipping charges to return the defective product.I also contacted the dealer from where the chair was shipped and they wouldn't even talk to me, just hung up the phone.I like Amazon but I learned a valuable lesson, don't purchase large, expensive items this way as you never know what you're going to get. As it turned out, I could have purchase a better chair for less at my local Staples store...duh! I ended up redrilling the chair back plate and was able to complete the installation but now the chair has a loud "Pop" if I lean back and put any pressure on the seat back.

pretty good for the price
building this chair was a pain. there was one step where i thought i did something wrong, but then i am pretty sure its just a pain in the butt design to build. I dont' think its possible to put the screws completly in. It seems sturdy enough though and its decently comfy. I've had it for awhile now and the screws aren't an issue, they are in there enough to do the job.The arms aren't padded enough so they can hurt if you're in the chair for more than 2 hours. But after having this chair for a few months. I'd say its alright for what I paid for it. Back support is pretty decent and thats mostly what i care about.

Amazing chair for it's price, Very light, doesn't lean back like what's advertised.
Pros:- Much lighter and easier to move around- Fit's my big bum nicely- Lumbar and pillow are very comfortable- Build is very sturdyCons:- No lean back like advertised- A little bit hard to scoot around while sitting on it (personal opinion)- Side pedal feels a bit looseThis chair is amazing for the price compared to al the other luxury chairs. The faux leather feels amazing and the padding is perfectly adequate. The one thing I kinda got bummed about was the leaning. From the pictures, it seemed to be able to lean back, but once I got the chair, I noticed that there wasn't a pedal for it and the tension knob doesn't seem to actually do much to help with it either.I personally like to be able to lean back and nap sometimes when gaming or doing work at my desk, but if you don't mind being able to lean back, then this chair is perfect for gaming and working.

Good for the price
The chair is nice and sturdy. Assembly was ok. Some screws didn’t fit properly and were hard to get in but with a little force they went through. Once assembled the chair is slightly crooked but not a bit deal. Not noticeable when you sit on it. Overall it’s comfortable and feels sturdy. Worth the price.
