Guitar tone is suggestive. I like this pedal though. To my ears it's sounds amazing. Well built, and for $50, killer deal. I leave the tone cranked to the right.

50$?! Done!It makes sense though, because I try and 'flavor' my overdrive and boosts. OK I'm a tone hound. I'm honest about it, because it's taken the last few (6) years to get a 'sound'. Oh, but when you hit that perfect tone, you sound like a recording.Honestly this has a serial number(0013) and a set of initials. I'm sort of hesitant to open it to see if this is signed. I've seen the trailer and the electronics are well done but, Really, done by hand. I have no experience with such a personal pedal. I am honored.TBH: yes ocd,wampler-ish sounds but the price will have you checking it out. I mean, Really!?This cheap? It's small and perfect for my board.I am very happy.Beware the power socket isn't as tight as I'd like power to hold to a plug. Might be an issue without a effects loop amp. My pedal is always on so that's part of my sound. The other drives color sound.Try this pedal even if it is from China. A clever box is all 50$ will get. This box gives you a Superior pedal experience, and Using the pedal, packaging is minimize, No operating manual: I sort of love that it felt like a guy or gal just built me a pedal and it is only for me! Then they sent it to me.That right there was cool, and it's fit on my board, told me it was a good buy.But... you decide, and if you do, say something here. We're interested.

The pedal works great, high output the LED glows brighter than when it’s selected to Low output…I noticed the input for the power supply hole around the center pin is a little too big. When the 9v power supply I use (Voodoo Labs) is installed it doesn't fit securely and can easily fall out by just moving the pedal a little bit so this is the only thing wrong with this pedal as far as overall criticism goes. I didn’t open it up to see if it can use a 9v battery so for now it’s AC powered only.When the pedal is engaged it’s very quiet when used, no 60 cycle hum or anything else is heard when it’s turned on…The switch isn’t popping when used despite being a loud click type switch and the control knobs are smooth and don’t have any scratchy spots in the tone when it’s turned on…I recommend this one to anyone looking to boost their amp output for sure…

The media could not be loaded. I own a bunch of high-end pedals, and this pedal exceeds my expectations sound-wise and aesthetically. To the builder, great job at such an affordable price!Watch video for gain,tone and volume range.

This is a great sounding, well made pedal. I would recommend it and I would buy it again if had to do over again...

The pedal arrived the next day and was packaged in a plain brown cardboard box with a bar code sticker label. The only thing in the box was the pedal wrapped in 2 plastic bags. No manual, warranty card, or velcro. The pedal has no markings on the back like the sellers images so input and output were a guess. I was curious about the location of the switch and ease of pressing it, being so close to the pots and toggle switch. It would be more user friendly if it was turned 90° and smaller knobs were used so the stomp switch could be isolated. It just feels awkward. There is some number on the bottom that looks like it is written with a black marker. I assume it's the serial number? It does sound ok, I just wish it was a little more professional in appearance and packaging/content.
