Leather Case Kit for FUJIFILM X100VI, Including Half Cases, Flip Case Cover and Shoulder Strap, Genuine Leather Material, Portable and Protecting, Brown - 4558

Beautifully complements the silver Fuji X100VI retro asesthetic, and is very well made. Pros: * A perfect, snug fit (no gaping sections). Does not impede access to the tilting screen, focus-mode switch, or battery compartment. * The finish is a lovely 'matte' (nubuck?) leather look, of a rich brown colour (but see Cons). * The threaded fastener for the tripod mount has a clever hinged swivel semicircle to tighten (no more searching for coins for the groove, though it does have this too). * The flip-over case is protectively lined, and is padded too. * Stitching is even, and meticulously executed. * The dome covering the lens is not as contrasting with the rest of the case as it appears on some online photos (at least, in my unit). A plus, I was almost dissuaded from buying the case because of the contrast, so a 'win' for me. * Surprise extras of a shutter-release button and branded hot-shoe insert (although the latter was not a good silver match for the camera body, a much duller grey). * Excellent non-plastic packaging, and reusable 'fabric' drawstring bags. Cons: Very few, and minor, but.. * Really surprised that the strap cannot be adjusted for length. Hm. It's fine for me, but might be an issue for people wanting a shorter strap. * The 'nubuck' leather is going to mark easily, for sure. Battle-scars of future use will be evident! * Not convinced by the decision to use velcro on the camera base but, to be fair, they are stitched in and not just glued, and the pads are mercifully flush enough that the camera does *not* wobble on a flat surface which had been a concern prior to purchase. * Wish there had been a small tool to help with the strap's ring connectors (like Fuji supplies). Ask a friend to help hold down the anti-scratch lapels while threading the rings. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend it, the best on the market and much nicer than the Black Fuji one.

Fits my X100Vi nicely. There aren't many options when it comes to cases for the X100Vi, and I got fed up of carrying mine around in a felt wrap, as it was fiddly and bulky. I have the NiSi adapter ring, filter and Fuji lens cap attached to my X100Vi, and the combination fits perfectly. I like the magnetic attachment for the top part of the, er, top half of the case, but don't like the hook and loop for the bottom part of the top part. If that makes any sense! Hook and loop always deteriorates over time. Shame they couldn't have fitted another magnet instead. The leather looks good quality, but I guess it'll mark up pretty quickly as it's a smooth leather. May be possible to put leather protector or wax on to reduce the affect of usage. I discarded the accessories of strap and shutter topper. I think the quality of the strap is poor when you consider the camera this is to be used with, and I avoid shutter toppers as there are enough reports of damaging the shutter button to dissuade me from making use of them (yes, I know, you've been using them for years no problem etc...). In conclusion, a great case... just the velcro...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose. I found the top of the case to be singularly unattractive, tight at the top with gaps at the side. I also didn’t like the use of Velcro for fastening instead of poppers or similar. Certainly made well enough but to me it just didn’t fit correctly. I returned it and bought the SmallRig half case for the X100vi which was equally well made but a better design and fit, no Velcro and perfect sizing. Pity the full case doesn’t share the same design elements as the half case because I had hoped it would be a quality alternative to the Fuji case.

Very classy bit of kit. Easy access to battery / card and tripod mount. It has access to MCS, but not to the charging slot (see images). Inner cover slips over the camera perfectly and is held by a tripod screw (see images). The flip front cover comes off completely and held underneath with two Velcro strips. I only use the outer cover for transporting and take it off for photography. Package comes with a strap but I quite like my Fuji one. Hope this helps. Good quality and well worth its money.

The bottom half is really nice and the quality of the leather is great. The top part that covers the camera is also great quality, but it does leave the sides of the camera a little exposed. But as protection when you want to carry your camera without a case, it does the job well. You won’t be able to fit the X100VI with a regular lens hood attached, but this one (on Amazon) fits nicely and it has a built in UV filter to keep the camera weather resistant. Haoge LUV-X100W Metal Lens Hood. One disappointing point with this case is that they used Velcro to attach both sides of the case. This will be useless in no time as the loop side deteriorates. I might pick the stitching at that point. It looses a star for this point alone. The strap feels fine, but I would have preferred it without the slippy shoulder pad (which I might cut off). The part of the case the sits over the LCD screen is well padded! Magnets are also used to hold both parts together and the make sure everything lines up straight every time. The half case looks amazing though and is worth the money for that alone.

Good quality, things that people complain about, like color differences, are acceptable to me. Also come with a hot shoe cover and shutter button.
