Close enough to the 1980s
In the 1980s, there was a potato chip company called Clover Club. They made a corn crisp snack called Pizza Puffs. These were my absolute favorites. I've been on the hunt for something similar for decades. I found these at my local grocery store and decided to give them a try. They definitely have the right texture even though the shape isn't right. The crispy corn is very satisfying. The flavor isn't as strong. I'd love more tomato, cheese, and basil flavor, but this is the closest snack to those 1980s Pizza Puffs. I'll keep buying them to satisfy that craving.
